Re: Summer Transfer thread - 2013/2014

I never miss the CD Motagua v CD Olimpia matches , home and away, fly from Inverness to Tegucigalpa , donkey to the ground , few tequilas with the locals after the game , Pedro and Chavez mostly , donkey back to Tegucigalpa and home. For me I always try to keep up to date with the Mongolian premier...

Re: Summer Transfer thread - 2013/2014

I love the way everbody on here are such officianados on the Honduran League, is it on Sky or ESPN, I must have missed it! No one has a clue exactly what he can produce, the lad has been given an opportunity, and he's jumped at the chance, he won't cost much, but he's got some hill to climb now, as ...

Re: Newcastle United v West Ham United: Match Thread

This game is all about the first 20 mins, if we can keep them quiet and impose ourselves on the game, the best fans in the world will soon turn on the team, manager, Kinnear, Ashley, the poor girl/lad who's bringing their food to their seats, if we were to score in that time all heel will let loose ...

Re: Summer Transfer thread - 2013/2014

Madrid will literally show Bale's medical live! They will milk every second of it as in shirt sales alone he is going to grab them some dough This signing is also a direct response to Barca bringing in Neymar (obviously not the only reason) And added to the above, the president, on his campaign to ...

Re: Today i bumped into...

Cycled past Russell Brand and female friend last week up near Shoreditch, the female friend being the one quoted in last weeks metro.

Waiting at the lights, some bloke shouted out W****** to him, and he gave the bloke some stick before cycling off.

Re: Summer Transfer thread - 2013/2014

We are complaining about how deluded the Scousers are, and their delusions of grandeur, perhaps people on here should start getting a grip! We are likely to be signing a 34 cap English International (not that england are that good) who may not be world class but will be a solid addition to our team/...

Re: Summer Transfer thread - 2013/2014

Personally still not overly worried, as the article states we have funds available, but only if the right player comes along, as it should be, there's no point it getting someone in just to make up the numbers, if they don't improve the squad. I think Sam will be looking at using the loan system ins...

Re: Summer Transfer thread - 2013/2014

Allardyce has also been ruthless when it's come to the likes of Carlton Cole, Gary O'Neil, Robert Hall, Nicky Maynard, Baldock etc. It's this ruthless streak that will keep us improving. Its funny, I was just thinking how ruthless BFS has been in improving our squad, but throughout his Bolton days ...

Re: Summer Transfer thread - 2013/2014

If we can't or won't meet the fee required and Swansea will then we obviously don't have more to offer - or we do, and choose not to offer it, which amounts to the same thing.[/quote] I didnt think it was about the amount bid, the argument was about Vitesse wanting all up front and we wanted to pay ...

As soon as someone mentioned the Daves were in France, i had this awful picture of seeing them in their pants with a westham flag chasing Chris Froome up the Alpe D'huez, on his way to winning theTour-De-France.

Re: West Ham United v Swansea City: Match Thread

Sorry for being pessimistic about this, but can only see a defeat from this one. Swansea keep the ball too well and from what Ive seen recently we are will not be quick enough to close them down and create pressure on the ball, even Wednesday night, Fulham passed the ball around us at times. I feel ...

Re: West Ham United v Queens Park Rangers - Match Thread

I wouldn't say i'm confident, infact very nervous about this game, but our home form is reasonable, in fact Norwich was also a critical game and we turned up for that, so i'm going for a 2-0 win, of course with some hairy moments, its the West Ham way. As for Remy, I honestly don't think he will be ...

I'm not at all impressed with all these signings so early in the transfer window, what are we supposed to do in the last week of January, no panic, no worry, and no bloody secret signings on the 1st of February, this club is seriuosly going backwards. :x

Re: West Ham United v Everton: Match Thread

This is going to ba a very tough game, eventhough they have lost Felliani, unless we have a surprise in the injuries, i can't see any changes from the team that started against West Brom. If we had a full squad to choose from I would of gone for a home win, but with the squad paper thin I'd be happy...
