Re: ⚽ Man Utd v West Ham Utd: match thread (13/4)

I've never been to Man Utd before, any suggestions for pubs our fans are likely to drink in before the game?

Burnley Hammer wrote:Queen Victoria is popular with away fans if i recall correctly. It was many years ago though so things might have changed now. It's only a 10 minute walk from the ground. Also The Bridge, also 10 mins away.

A mate of mine who was working in Burnley recommended we head to the Bridge.

Re: Boleyn Ground For Sale

When the discussions that the club wanted to move into the Stadium started to get serious, I heard that the ground would be demolished and turned into...a mosque. One of Europe's largest in fact, whether that is still on the cards I don't know. I can't see how a supermarket could work on that site,...

Re: Newcastle United v West Ham United: Match Thread

A crowd of us from Airdrie are heading down on the Saturday morning. Proper buzzing as Newcastle is a great night out. Which pub is usually the most liveliest for a pre-match pint when we visit Newcastle?[/quote] For some reason Sam Jacks has been popular in recent years, but it is a terrible bar i...

Re: West Ham Utd v Millwall: match thread

I'm getting rather excited. Driving down to Upminster tomorrow morning and catch up with my grandparents before the game on Sat.

Just hope my cousin is right and the pubs in Barking are unaffected by this pub ban so I can get some some pre-match refreshments.

Re: West Ham United v Derby County Match Thread

Duncan's for some Pie n Mash, a "few" pre-match pints in the Duke of Edinburgh then out in the bright lights of Romford after the game to celebrate our victory!!! P.S. does an...

Re: Millwall v West Ham Utd: match thread

Yeah he was the brains that had a thread go viral due to his genius. He went mad that the online booking system showed his ticket taken. No matter how many people pointed out that it was because he had the ticket it would show as taken. I am not sure if the thread is still there but google stuwall ...
