Re: Summer 2020 Transfer Thread
Here’s another shout for Left Back, Joe Bryan from Fulham if they stay down? I head down to Bristol City a few games a year and remember when he first came through he was shaky at best, but over the years went on to be fantastic Looks like another good season for Fulham this year, wasn’t particular...

Re: ⚽ Arsenal v West Ham Utd: match thread
Same team as last week if we can. Showed determination (at last) with a game plan and the forward players performed well. A game of both boxes for this game as both teams can hurt going forward and concede going backwards. Could not guess which way it will go but after the last 2 games and least I d...

Re: ⚽ Aston Villa v West Ham United: Match Thread
Not a bad game for a 0-0. Playing a new team in the early part of the season can be difficult due to the motivation/energy/ organisation. Come next February it may of be an easier game due to squad size and teams understanding them a bit more. Fab made some great saves and we did not threaten the go...

Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham Utd: match thread
As MP always says 'we have to think and play like a big team'. We have the squad 'on paper' to have a far better season than last year. Investment has been good. Teams like Watford in that middle third should not be worrying us anymore. I will be disappointed with anything less than a win because th...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread
I don't think we would have signed players like Anderson, Haller and Diop if we were still at Upton Park. The Olympic stadium is a big selling point to foreign players. Payet, Carroll*, Lanzini. It's a myth. - It's not. If we were still at the Boleyn we would have gone backwards with players by now....

A nice game to finish the season and I can see a win (although quite rare there). Having Lanzini/Wiltshire was a delight on Saturday and showed what we have missed with injuries.
As normal having a good old drink in the Moon Under Water with a number of Watford fans.

Think Snoddy is available. I read somewhere last night that although he has a ban we have to wait for all the documents to come through from the enquiry and then decide if we will appeal.
I think that means he can play this week and then next week decide if he will appeal.

Re: ⚽ Cardiff City v West Ham Utd (9/3)
Does anybody know why??? I have got my 3 normal away tickets (2 adults and a U22 ticket), all season ticket holders on 37 loyalty points so we have a track record. This week the U22 cannot make it so I have asked WHU and Cardiff if I can upgrade it to give to another season ticket holder. Both clubs...

Club honouring Billy Bonds and the new 'Billy Bonds' stand before the game on Saturday with a number of pitch side activities.
They would like people to be in their seats by 5.10 pm for it to start.

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham Utd: match thread (27/02)
Got home at 1.30 so happy with that even though the m6 roadworks did their best to make it later... Mixed feelings on the game really... Good to see Johnson having a game and did ok for a young lad. I thought we defended well and gave it a go where we could. We look a different team when Lanzini is ...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Something that doesn't get any discussion is the Dugouts. Should we consider having those portable Dugouts that's closer to the action for all staff and players or keep it as it is? My feeling is I wouldn't mind us trialling it for a bit to see how the team fairs. If they moved closer to the pitch ...

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Fulham: match thread (22/2)
Can't see anything past a home win. I have seen them enough over the last 4 seasons as taken mum and dad (Fulham season ticket holders).
They are awful at the back but can be pretty on the ball.
Please don't man but taking mum in the home end. Let's hope the security don't sus out the 85 year old...

Re: Marko Arnautovic Signs
I like it that although the world knows that Arnie wants to leave from a West Ham point of view we are quiet and staying out of the media. It looks like we are trying to do our business in quiet.
Definitely learned from the past and more professional.

Re: Marko Arnautovic Signs
Just heard Martin Lipton say on TS that apart from the money, there’s another reason he may need to leave England, but he wasn’t going to repeat what he heard. Way to plant a little claymore into the story there Martin. I heard the same thing. Alan Brazil seems to know what it is aswell. It seems l...

Plenty of good and could do better in the game but nice to make a few changes and still looked comfortable. Never thought that we would not win.
In previous years we would struggle or lose that game... 'we're not West Ham any more'.

Zaba in for Antonio, the Guv back in for Ogbonna and Perez in for Arnie. I would have Creswell for Arthur if he is fit. With the style of play we are producing now and with the performances getting better we are moving away from this lot and should only be thinking of a win. It's a shame about Arnie...

Re: ⚽ Newcastle Utd v West Ham Utd: match thread (01/12)
Great away day. I love the way we attack teams now. For 90 minutes we gave it ago. It seems to be coming together a bit more now. Negative - sometimes we play too much football in the wrong areas and give the ball away and then we are exploited. Numerous attacks against us on Saturday cos we over pl...

I think we will concede. We are so poor from crosses, Rondon will have a field day.
Looking forward to this one. An away point will do. Leaving at 7.30 am for this one. Next level..... Rondon will have a field day .....
