Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

How many decent seasons have we had in the last 15 years? Or indeed 40 years? As a fan I have always wanted West Ham to progress. To be a top ten club, to be in the Europa league, to get into the champions league, maybe even wln the league. Why be a fan if you cant dream of progressing? Even if it ...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

When we got him for the second time one of my first thoughts was who we'd get to replace him. I think until the summer of 2021 it's a write off for us, f**k knows what our squad will look like by then or what division we'll be in but we've been going nowhere slowly and Moyes is starting to put his f...

Re: Ryan Fredericks signing confirmed

He's fast. If you look like you could be in an RNB boy band and you're fast you're either a winger or you're a winger asked to play full back. A s**t Kyle Walker, a Championship right back, a Crystal Palace third choice right back type, that's what he is and that's what we've got, 8 years ago we cou...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

Did anyone ever see Andrea Pirlo playing for New York City? The fantastic Andrea Pirlo, at the end of his career, looking lost as he tried to play with inferior players to what he was used to. You can't have a player like Mark Noble in a side as negative as the ones Moyes puts out. What is happening...

Re: Justin Fashanu Hall of fame (non whu)

Scoring a wonder goal and being a black player coming out in the 80's, as great and brave as those things are they're not hall of fame stuff, not when most of his career was bang average. What next, inducting Harpal Singh for being the first British Asian to represent a Premier League club? John Har...

Re: ⚽ Liverpool v West Ham United:Match thread (24/02)

Liverpool are unbeaten all season in the league, they're going to absolutely batter us, no formation, team selection or anything is going to change that at this point. Wake me when it's over.

Re: Justin Fashanu Hall of fame (non whu)

John Fashanu is just a ****. I cant stand him or that ****er Jones. .. Ooh they were hard men, going after blokes on a football pitch that just wanted to play football, trying to rub people up the wrong way and if they couldn't just going for them anyway, usually never alone and never with a mate o...

Re: Ian Wright

That Redknapp golden era, as I suppose we have to call it now given the s**t we're continuously served up, Wright was on that ride briefly. When we talk of that period I think of Dicks, Bilic, Hartson, Kitson, Lomas, Berkovic, Sinclair, Lampard jnr, Rio, Di Canio, Wanchope, Cole, Carrick, Schemmel, ...

Re: Justin Fashanu Hall of fame (non whu)

Should they ask John to represent him and accept the entry on his behalf? Would seem wrong given the breakdown in their relationship before Justin’s death. But with the remorse and regret John has shown in recent years, perhaps there is some closure there for him and the brothers’ family. *Edit: ju...

We wouldn't be getting relegated if we kept Pellegrini. We wouldn't be getting relegated if we'd have kept Adrian.

Re: 2019/2020 Relegation Thread

We are truly awful, on and off the pitch, no balls, we're a worse version of Newcastle, a worse version of the late 90's Spurs, more unlikeable than any other club in the country right now. I wouldn't be at all surprised if, this time next season, Steve Evans is employed to help steer us to 14th in ...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

I said it after Domzale and I'll it again and again, this is s**t. I haven't been back since and I'll never go again. Awful stadium lining the pockets of awful people. Regardless of whether we stay up or not I hope there are nasty scenes in every home game from now until the end of the season, nobod...

I mainly remember him for this, he behaved like a f**king idiot.

He tends to have a bias to black players too, understandable but unprofessional if you are a pundit, defending Saido Berahino with "he loves his mum" is youth offenders defence style stuff.

I don't think he'd be in the hall of fame if he was still alive. That sounds bad but it's probably true.

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United: MATCH POSTPONED (09/02)

With Man City having a league cup final, Champions League knock out and FA Cup matches to juggle this could work in our favour, we might only lose 3-0 if they rest some players.

Sanchez played as Centre Back for Columbia in the World Cup.

Why would we play him in Midfield?

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United: Match thread (09/02)

Sterling out is not frankly very good for you. He's been gash for weeks, not only in my view, but in the view of many other City supporters. Only Pep seems to be seeing something that none of us are. Meanwhile, we've got Gabriel Jesus warming his backside on the bench most of the time. He works his...
