Re: ✍ Welcome Nayef Aguerd
He's never going to be good enough, you can't be that weak and be a central defender in the Premier League, it feels like the mistakes are happening more frequently. I really miss Craig Dawson, he could play a bit, was decent enough on the ball but first and foremost he was a solid strong defender.

Re: African nations
Pleased for Haller but an absolute shambles of a tournament to have them win it considering how bad they were in the group, they lost 2 of their 3 games, you should never be going through after that.

Re: Declan Rice
I'm quite interested to see what happens when Dec faces Ireland in the Nations League, hell of a thing to do, switching countries after 3 caps and obviously all the stuff on social media, regardless of his age at the time. "Imagine when we play England" "Up the RA" I don't think ...

Re: ✍ Welcome, Kalvin Phillips
I've already convinced myself that he's only good in A - A Bielsa Leeds set up and even then he wasn't always at it B - In with England's quite frankly embarrassment of riches where it's hard not to look good He's not going to be enough for what we need and even if he gets there we're just fluffing ...

Re: ✍ Welcome James Ward-Prowse
Hasn't scored a free kick for us yet, all the talk about it but we're yet to see it, for one reason or another but it's not like he hasn't had the chance to do it.

Re: Squad & Injuries.
I thought the decision to start Paqueta was risky and despite the assist so it proved to be. Easy to say in hindsight but there's more important games for Lucas than Bristol City at home in the up, should never have been starting, today has been something of a disaster.

Re: Declan Rice
Before Arsenal played us the other night there were lots of people saying how Rice has improved Arsenal and pushed them on and in many ways he has, they wouldn't be doing better without him. Arsenal got lucky last season and had a lot stacked in their favour, it's a lot tougher this season but havin...

Re: Today's matches
Really weird season at the top, nobody has looked like their in full stride yet but to me it still feels like a two horse race between Liverpool and Man City. Arsenal are too fragile, Spurs are too naive and Villa will almost certainly run out of steam.

Re: Days that were worse than today
There are more than ten of these during the Allardyce era alone and that was a period where we won promotion and stayed up after. Under Roeder there's another ten, under Pardew another ten. Probably fifty games this century worse than yesterday, either that or decades of West Ham has conditional me ...

Re: ✍ Welcome Nayef Aguerd
I'm still not convinced with this guy at all. He does some lovely things and you could make a very good highlight reel of him with powerful music played over the top of it but equally you could press play on Beck - Loser and have enough "should have done better there" footage to last the d...

West Ham didn't do well out of signing Titi Camara but Redknapp and Camara certainly did.

Aaah, well that's me looking a bit stupid, thanks for pointing that out! The fact still remains though that his attitude is all wrong doing this kind of thing, can you imagine Paolo Di Canio cracking up at only scoring two goals all season?Crouchend_Hammer wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 2:44 pm The podcast was aired before Saturday. Re: ✍️ Welcome Michail Antonio
Just watched the miss a few more times, I can't believe he's gone online after that having a laugh with a player from another club about how many goals he's scored. Do whatever you want in private, if it's a coping mechanism for dealing with poor form I understand but he also needs to understand tha...

Re: ✍️ Welcome Mohammed Kudus
I love him, he's one of those players that I just enjoy watching and even if we lose I've been entertained, I also work with a lot of lads from Ghana who are obsessed with him. I'm already resigning myself to him going in the summer but from now until the end of the season I hope he continues to del...

Re: VAR 2023/24
I haven't even seen it yet, I was watching the game in the pub before going to see The Chemical Brothers, went for a wee and missed the goal but I love the fact that it's caused Arteta to crack and Raya sounds like he was partly at fault, made my day all the more better, especially seeing a load of ...

Re: ✍️ Welcome Michail Antonio
It's the Micah Richards effect, just laugh at everything and don't appear to take anything seriously, it's all good.....except you're playing football professionally, getting paid a f**king fortune to do so and failing, it's not funny then, it's embarrassing, this kind of thing.
