Re: Pochettino leaves Spurs. (Mourinho confirmed)

With the daunting prospect of facing the rampaging and free scoring West Ham at the 'Fortress Olympia' the Tottenham chairman has panicked and appointed Jose Mourinho in what can only be described as a damage limitation exercise. To be fair, I can understand why Levy has been so quick to appoint Mo...

Re: West Ham United v Tottenham Hotspur: Match Thread 23/11/2019

nailed on spuds win. the fact is that pelle cant motivate anyone and the team are not playing for him. none of them are trying much and all performing well below what they are capable of. his treatment of fredericks masuaka and ogbonna must be an issue. his signings have been poor he has no tactics...

Re: Pochettino leaves Spurs. (Mourinho confirmed)

A lot of my West Ham mates are worried about this appointment, but I can't help think that there are more negatives to it than positives. 1. The bloke will need huge sums of investments to succeed. Do Tottenham realistically have the money to make this happen over the next four years? If they do, wh...

I'm not sure Pochettino was the problem there. I don't think this decision will suddenly make them that much better. I think they have bigger issues.
And I don't think Jose is the man to solve them either...hopefully...

Re: Pochettino leaves Spurs.

Jose did not need 100s of millions to win The Champions League for Porto or Inter did he? Make no mistake, Spurs will no longer be Spursy with Mourinho in charge, with that squad they will win trophies. Fingers crossed it does not happen...... How long ago was that? The game has moved on from Jose ...

It can't be Mourinho. He needs £100's of millions to build. Levy is not going to just suddenly handover a war chest denied to Pochettino for ever.

This was exactly my thinking Paddy.

I Can’t find a lot of fault with the owners for being a pretty stable mid table team. I think the biggest miss they had was not investing in a top striker in the first Payet Season Jan window.
You must be on a wind up mate.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I don't see the Spurs supporters calling for Poch's head and they are far worse off than us ... Pochettino took Tottenham to another level and took them to their first champions league final. They will not get a better manager to work under Daniel Levy. Are you honestly telling me what we have righ...

I know right? I couldn't work out what I was looking at then the realization kicked in fast..

Horrible thing to see.
It was Moura's reaction that made me realise.

2-0 Burnley, and the first nail in Pellegrini's coffin. 65 quid for the train and 30 quid for the match, I must be mad going up there to see us get done  .

Not the worst shout in the world. Feel like we need to go for a younger manager who has a point to prove.

Who would swap him for Jose?
Not in a million years.

1. Jose won't come here.
2. He won't be able to work with the circus in charge.
3. He'll need way more money to do what he needs to do than Pellegrini.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I'd give him three games to turn it around. He's very close to losing the dressing room - looks like the players have all but lost faith So Burnley away, Tottenham at home and Chelsea away? We'll get one point from that if we're lucky. We have had one good performance all season which was the Norwi...

Re: Weekend Fixtures 25-27th October

thing is though (Aurier was it ?) had possession of the ball, was swinging his leg to clear the ball and Mane nipped in - his leg was already in motion how is he a) supposed to stop the swing and b) he wasn't even looking at Mane at all. in the NFL - incidental contact ? To be fair though its not a...
