No we didn't profits went down for the second year in a row ... did you even read the accounts?
I cant believe I am going to write this, but, the areas of her specific responsibility all increased, it was player costs that led to the losses not trading over which she has no control.

Re: WH Holding Ltd accounts released

A £6m increase in receipts and commercial income. People are going to get hung up on the pantomime villain stuff and miss just how spectacularly wrong the pellegrini experiment went. We tried to play with the big boys and it's bitten us on the arse. Exactly so. We put a **** load of money down, rol...

I tend to take three's of things, biscuits etc and this afternoon I realized why. I have two brothers, so subconsciously I am still stealing their share!

Re: Tourists

No issue at all with tourists, there were plenty at UP in the last ten years, mostly Scandies. Even the odd away in the home end, that is unless they lack respect for where they are, then it's a completely different matter. I had a "turn out" with a Man Utd supporter who was ****ing off everything a...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Start a dialogue with supporters, get a DoF and put in the organisation, structure and facilities and stop Sullivan running the show - and get a full-time CEO that emphasises with the supporters and the values that our club should be upholding. This is the best that can be achieved in the short ter...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

Were a production company E17, got to much on currently to consider a speculative project. But I think TOME’s post is an outline for a new “supporters” focused follow up if anyone has the time, it encapsulates so many individual points that I hear from many many supporters. It’s also very well writt...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

Someone should do a follow up to that film called “lollipop men” - with a C&B Stop/Go sign replacing the irons on the cover and the first scene Mark Noble going on about circus’ We pitched a two year project, last year at UP first year at LS, they turned us down and let the Ironmen guys do theirs b...

Re: A Zig-Zag Line: The True Symbol of WHU

Goals, we haven't had anyone who could score a consistent 15 goals a season in the PL era. If you have a player like that your whole dynamic as a team changes, you believe you can win because that guy will score, the opposition start from the premise, stop player x or we loose. Without that your pre...

Re: Grady Diangana

He will stay there whilst injured. We wont want to pay wages for another player that cant actually play. His back injury has been dragging on for a while now, probably better off up there using their physios rather then the ones we have. The terms of loans almost always see a player return to the p...

Re: Taxi for Karren ? Is one due ?

Hmm. If Rita is being lined up to be thrown under a bus to quell the unrest & protests, someone(s) must be quite worried.. I say 'thrown under the bus', she would leave with a very nice golden handshake, make no mistake about that. It would be just for show & to stop all the protests. We mustn't fa...

Re: what pub have you been in today ? Rate it out of 10

When the Grays brewery in Chelmsford stopped brewing in 1974, all their pubs subsequently switched to selling Greene King draft and Ridleys bottled beers. I used to love a Bob and Abbot - Ridleys Old Bob ale and Greene King's Abbot. Ridleys Old Bob was a decent drop. They sold that in the Wheatshea...

Re: 2nd Hand Car Considerations

Got a mate with a new RRS and it's been a lemon. Gearbox, Central Locking, electrical issues. Maybe just a one off. I'm sure some German cars are not as reliable as maybe they should. If it's a new model like our current one it's a one off, I know plenty with this car and no-one has mentioned issue...

Re: 2nd Hand Car Considerations

Well, I do live in Switzerland where things are a bit more pointy & snowy so I think it's allowed :) It's also great for carrying passengers and luggage/trash without resorting to a dull as dishwater people carrier. But to be honest i don't really get the vitriol in some parts to 4x4 cars - my prev...

decs has been ur best player this season yet again. IF they buy someone to help him in the middle so we don't have to rely on snoddy noble or god help us sanchez then he will improve yet more. top top player who I hope we see in our shirt for many years but fear the worst with our owners if a 60m b...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

Henderson is debatable enough but I can't imagine anybody without their claret & blue shades on would agree that Noble is a better footballer than Milner. I was making the example of athletes verses footballers Stevey. Milner was an outstanding school boy athlete, at all distances between 100m to c...

Re: 2nd Hand Car Considerations

Range Rovers have got a horrific rep reliability wise. I would stick with German, Jap or Korean. My 1st RRS had issues as outlined in my earlier post, but the last two have been completely trouble free ( 2012 and 2017 models). The current model is a completely different vehicle from the earlier box...

We actually managed 10 consecutive seasons 93-03.
It doesn’t contradict the points raised, but Southampton can **** off.
Amen to that Leon.
