Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend
Does make you wonder what'd he'd be like if he'd played in a proper team like this, which catered to his strengths, for all the last ten years, and not just in spells with the Tevez and Payet teams.

Re: Declan Rice
For me, its a lot harder to find a proper holding midfielder than it is to find a proper centre half, so I'd like to see him continue in midfield and make the position his own. Handy if he can cover CB too. If he turns out half as good as he should, he's the holding midfielder England have been miss...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend
On that bloody Callum Wilson goal, if Noble had gone back in and fouled him, which is pretty much all he could have done from that position, he'd have been sent off for a second yellow. If he'd got sent off with all those players still there to stop Wilson, he'd have been a proper moron. This is ex...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager
Some of the kneejerking and pantwetting on this thread is seriously entertaining. People honestly expected a new manager to come in, bring in 9 new players, and get us playing amazing football and smashing teams straight away?
Give the bloke a chance FFS.

Re: Declan Rice
For his age, he is easily as good as any of Rio, Lamps, Carrick were at the same time, if not better. If he ends up being as good as any of them, he'll have one hell of a career

I'd sell him for £14, let alone £14m.bubbles1966 wrote:Porto want Kouyate - £14m, already in talks according to The Sun.

Drinkwater is crap. Never did anything until he had Kante next to him, and never done anything since. Even Leicester season ticket holders I know say that Matty James is a better player, just always injured.

Sell Kouyate for £10m or whatever and replace him with Toure on a free. Yes please.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 32 days remaining
I'd sell Kouyate for 50p. Wouldn't be too fussed about Antonio going if we get both Yarmolenko and Anderson, and I'd keep Obiang unless we got in a proper DM.

Wilshere, Carvalho, Bruno Fernandes and Mawson would sort us right out. Lets hope we can get it done.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 44 days remaining
Really don't get the "we must definitely sell Hugill, he's ****" comments. How can anyone base that on seeing him play for us? He's played a total of 22 minutes in a West Ham shirt! I think I'd love nothing more than him turning up for first day of preseason, massively impressing Pellegri...

Bernard is a fantastic player. I'd rather give him a £10m signing on fee than spend £35m on Felipe Anderson, before his signing-on fee.

Has anyone else backed up Claret & Hugh's claim that we've stalled on Mawson because Pellers now doesn't fancy 2 Swansea players (which strikes me as weird)? Either way, it has gone very quiet on Mawson.

Fabianski is a far superior keeper than Adrian, don't let his 'passion' fool you. Big upgrade. Great signing

Loftus-Cheek would be a fantastic signing. Would still need a proper DM though I think. Nobes, Obiang, Loftus-Cheek and a DM would be a great set to choose from.

I'd never do a deal with them for Arnie unless we got one of Rashford or Martial in return, and even then I'd want minimum the £25m back we spent on him.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018
I've wanted us to sign Traore for long enough. It's easy to forget he's only just turned 22. Has such great natural physical ability and his end product is improving a lot.

Big strong guy with good feet, young, English. Would be a decent upgrade on Kouyate
