Funny I was talking with a mate about the worst games I have ever seen at West Ham last week and I mentioned this game. He couldn't remember it at all - lucky b*stard :)

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

get rid of him now ffs and bring anyone in that might go for it! He'll be gone as soon as we go down and the c**** in charge will say they listened to the fans and got rid of him. He is a perfect appointment for them. Too much anger is directed at him, not all unjustified mind you. That suits the B...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Pair of them are both tired yesterdays men appointed by our tired yesterday board. No forward thinking, no fresh ideas...the last few years have been a disgrace and the reward will be dropping into the Championship and playing in a half empty soulless athletics stadium for years to come as I can't ...

Re: 2019/2020 Relegation Thread

I would have much more faith in us getting the points under Pelligrini, as I believe we would get a decent amount of away points under him. Under Moyes we are going to have to rely purely on the home games.which brings additional pressure In summary, we shpukd stay up IMHO, but we won't We would be...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

It’s going back to Moyes for a second time and not a progressive manager that really gets my goat. All correct, but can you see this board paying compensation to Pellegrini, compensation to another club for their manager during the season and buying players in the January transfer window? Moyes was...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

From most of the games I have been to this season I have found it pretty easy to find players who should be replaced in the second half of games. That can't be a good thing game after game. Hence where we are. Add players chucked back in the team who are going to tire and you have problems piling up...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Whatever your feelings on Moyes, there is one stat that keeps coming back about the previous manager. 1 point in six home games between mid September and New Year's Day. You cannot defend a record like that. The wins at Chelsea and Southampton do not make up for that. The last two defeats were the w...

Re: How much do you care about relegation?

The current West Ham is just a parody of the team I used to support and they're unrecognisable to the team I loved for nearly 40 years. Exactly how I feel after 54 years. My head says bow out after this season as it isn't going to get any better under these three *****, I hope I have the courage to...

Re: Remaining Fixtures Predictions.

I'm pretty certain knowing West Ham we will pick up a couple of wins we didn't expect, these will have to be a real bonus and not making up for getting nothing where we expected a result!

Re: 2019/2020 Relegation Thread

I'm hoping Moyes continues to get us better organised and working harder, as that will give us a chance. That 1 point in 6 home games from the end of September to New Year's Day is going to be the killer if we can't turn draws into wins at home for the rest of the season. Saturday was disappointing,...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

As somebody who always preferred Sam to our board, he would go down in my estimation if he came back to work for the ***** running our club. The best result for all is for him to tell them he isn't interested or even better '**** off'. We could do worse, in fact we are at the moment, but going backw...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

You are quite correct, but should they get rid, which they probably wont, whoever comes in, within 18 months or so, we will be saying the same thing. They are THE problem, end of. No real investment, just bull**** and bravado I know where the real problem lies believe me, but that is no excuse for ...

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Arsenal :Match thread (9/12)

It's all just so slow and pedestrian under Pellegrini, I genuinely believe this "brand" of football is worse than what Allardyce and Moyes served up, it's boring to watch and saps any atmosphere out of the ground (if there was any to begin with). I totally agree. I never went to a home game under e...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Regardless of the boards failings, he has got to go, completely the wrong man for a relegation battle, need a nasty b*stard, who will tell a few home truths and actually concentrate on the basics like tactics, fitness and defending set pieces. Exactly. These things don't cost any money. Any compete...

Re: ⚽ Southampton v West Ham United: Match thread (14/12)

It doesn't matter who is playing if the manager sends them out without a plan. Last night proved to me that the management do not seem to have any plan on what to do with the opposition. Arsenal try this suicidal playing out from the back, they are actually rubbish at it, but we allowed them to do i...

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Arsenal :Match thread (9/12)

All my mates think we are going to get spanked. I am bucking the trend and believe that Arsenal despite their forwards are more fragile than we are. If we decide to battle this out I believe we will get a result, maybe even win. We did it last Saturday, so it can be done. Lose this and I won't hold ...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I don’t agree, his character I doubt has changed much and he seems a fairly laid back, unflappable guy, however the over the hill, too old, past it comments are out of order in my view. My old man is older than Pellers and if I said to him any of the above he’d tell me where to go. Tactical issues,...

Re: ⚽ Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Ham United: Match Thread

A typical West Ham performance of recent years. Gave the opposition two goals with poor defending all round. Got into some good positions and the final touch/ball was not good enough. Never really put the opposition under any real pressure. Give the ball away far too easily, we hardly won a tackle o...

Re: Who Next? The odds

With Everton and Arsenal possibly going to change managers, I would imagine Howe would much prefer either of those clubs as they don't have our board. We can only get somebody who is desperate for a job. I imagine Rafa or Hughton. If they turn us around it will have been money well spent but as for ...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

A good manager with a great pedigree. But we didn't beat off a host of clubs to sign him, we didn't steal him from anybody. He was on the way down and probably couldn't believe his luck that a club as big as ours was prepared to pay him stupid money. Another vanity signing.. Manager - 'He has won Le...
