Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I think that's completely fair, and it's one of the first times I've heard it put non-emotionally! However, I would guess that most know as much as the powers that be. Sullivan's track record, apart from Moyes, is not good. Personally, I think we're going to struggle for the foreseeable regardless ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Would anyone have back any of our old managers up to/not including Pardew? I wouldn't. All the Moyes out people I've spoken to have no idea who they want. It's not their job to come up with replacements. It suggests they don't enjoy the way we play now and would like to change that in the hope of e...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

So, you talk to the fans of any other top club and ask if they would want him. The answer will almost always be 'no'. Just like these media pundits that constantly castigate the WHU fanbase, but when asked if they would like him at their club go all coy about it. "careful what you wish for (wh...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Xabi Alonso seemed to appreciate Steidten to at least some degree after watching his team (their team, to at least some degree?) make ours look like a Non-League side.

Ambition, coaching, tactics, depth, mentality.

This team is shambolic.

End the season now, please.

Re: Bayer Leverkusen v West Ham Utd Europa QF 1st leg match thread

This lot are really not that good. In fact, if they were a PL team, they would be no more than mid table. ****ing bombard the **** out of them at shithouse bowl and glee at rheir demise Delusional. They made us look like a Non-League side. Turned a Europa League Quarter Final into a glorified train...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Think Kilman is very overrated.

He had it easy first half. Michail came on and rattled him. For a big lump, I don’t think he’s a particularly hard or strong defender.

Great header though. Shame it counted for nothing!

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

'direct evidence'. You're talking about a few second out of a clip at the end of a training session of the Holland NT from a few weeks ago, when Cody Gakpo and Jeremie Frimpong (phew, that boy is quick!!!) had a bit of friendly banter. Boys stuff. Reading much in that? Yeah! You’ve got to use whate...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

The referee stuff is BS. And in terms of things breaking in their favour? Not really. They're simply relentless in the way they're doing their stuff on the field. Super flexible. And they've good a really deep squad in terms of quality. But surely three-four players are key. Including Tah, Xhaka, G...

Nope, just some direct evidence that at least someone over there might be getting ahead of themselves and overlooking little old West Ham.

I’m glad they haven’t lost yet.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Don't think many at Leverkusen think or even talk that way. But they've got one of the best teams all across Europe right now. A top-4 PL-side. We'll have to be at our best to have a chance to clinch the Semis. I’m sure I saw a clip of one of their players taking a penalty on the training ground an...

Re: Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Ham United - match thread

Johnson and Cresswell changed the game.

Emerson had a great mentality.

Laughable decisions yet again across the board by the officiating.

Re: Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Ham United - match thread

We’re just back in the midst of one of those periods where the underlying stats and metrics have the outcomes reverting to the norm. If the other team has 3x as much of the ball as you and 3x most of everything else, they’re probably going to stick it in the onion bag more than us, so long as they d...

Re: Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Ham United - match thread

Shouldn't be about only JWP, unless you have an agenda against all. All midfielders failing to closing down Wolves' players, all our defenders looking jaded and Paq has one of his fat Payet kind of days. Awful. Difference is Paqueta has been brilliant since coming back. Soucek has been quite good r...
