Re: Manuel Pellegrini sacked

Pellegrini was, on paper, an aspirational appointment. Sadly the reality of the situation was that he was the managerial equivalent of signing Patrice Evra. I’m not sure you’re right. I think Pellers was fine last season - moving in the right direction. Like others before him he wasn’t adequately s...

Nope. It's like choosing between being tied to floor and having your balls covered in dog food and letting in a starving rottweiler, or having to go down on a 34 stone fat bird that's got a double dose of blue waffle.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

This is the point - no-one can predict what will happen, but many if not most hope at least it will bring about a change for the better. I think it would be the end of Brady at least, and that would be a start. Albie - If nothing else we used to be all about hope. I'm not alone in wanting to...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

I don’t question your integrity Ozza, just have you really thought it through? No he hasn't thought it through. Oz is as thick as pig ****. So am I. So are thousands of others. Look I get it, you don't think that relegation will shift the leeches. You may be right and us wrong. But I hope that you ...

Forget all the financial bullsh*t. Gave us some great memories, proper defender and top level at his peak.

**** that.

Let's start the march from the new flats at the Boleyn.

March down dogshit alley. Then a bit of a mini pubcrawl.
Ron - I've always liked your style bud. :)

Can't see my mates and me not ending up in the Black Lion though - love that pub.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

My point is, those who want relegation are doing a massive disservice to everyone that attends that excuse for a stadium. Surely you can't expect others to base their feelings and beliefs based on your choice to attend what you rightly call "that excuse of a stadium". It's your choice Pete. I think...

Hammers United may have to consider some form of fundraising.
If that happens I'm more than happy to chip in.

Re: Jimmy Quinn

I loved Jimmy Quinn. In fact all of Macari's signings were top drawer, IMO. From memory, Ludo, Quinn, Morley, Bishop, Foster & Allen In retrospect I think Macari, with all the dogginess of Swindon Town that swirled around him, was maybe the start of when the magic associated with West Ham first sta...

That's me done on this thread for now. At least it acts as a virtual quarantine for one particular poster. What will be will be - I'm going to heed the words of these fine chaps for now with regards to the Moyes thread.

It is somewhat amusing that, given the sheer volume of anti-Moyes posts, the presence of one person who defends his record is so annoying to some!
You must yearn for the day that Moyes's actions and record HERE mean that you no longer need to defend his record.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

for many people accepting david moyes represents accepting a new normal, which calcifies all the dour football and low expectations that moving from the boleyn was supposed to get us away from, while doing it as a disembodied husk of a club floating around in a vast plastic wilderness, like an eter...

I never left her, she left me. She took up with some rich, flawed geezer who had made his money from the sons and daughters of others. She was overwhelmed by him - then transformed into the image of him. To be honest I stopped recognising her anymore. The funny, passionate, very real and occasionall...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Like I've said before... he's far guiltier of making crap career choices than he is of being a bad manager. If you're right then poor judgement isn't a good trait in a manager in any walk of life. However, I suspect he didn't make career choices at all and that he went to awful jobs such as Sunderl...

As my son, Cameron, isn’t on this site, I’ve shown him all the replies and he appreciates everyone who’s supporting him. He has appealed the ban and will hopefully hear something by Wednesday. He’s already had his Manchester City and Liverpool tickets cancelled. He did a good thing and in doing so,...
