Re: Welcome, Sebastien Haller

Crouchy - If we were not only going to make no efforts to to win cups but actually do our best to throw then then maybe we shouldn’t have bothered to sign a good player knowing that good players are likely to quickly become unmotivated at an unambiguous club. Again see Payet. See Arnie. Make no mist...

He's so laid back he's almost horizontal. Try to look a bit interested son.
Why should he when plenty of us are no longer interested?

This unambiguous ‘club’ saps the energy of good, ambitious players who wouldn’t mind at least having a pop at winning a trophy or two. See Payet. See Arnie.

When do you think this happened?
I don;'t know mate but Pezza said a while back something along the lines "no wonder Pellers wants out". I don't know what led to him wanting out but Pezza has shown over the years that he is a genuine ITK.

Re: Board vs Pellegrini [POLL]

Board. Any manager is ****ed while these ****ing leaches are in control of this club. This. And Graza's excellent post too - Pellers has clearly given up. Yes you could argue that a professional should remain professional and motivated but staff have more chance of that happening if those ab...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

So relegation for West Ham London? Not a problem for me no matter how much that might grind the gears of those such as yourself, whose perspective I understand by the way, but just don't agree with. PS _ Tenners - you most definitely are not alone as you'll see if you managed to make it through my ...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

It infuriates me that people cannot see that damaging the club is not the same as damaging G&S. Just as they don't put their hands in their own pockets, it doesn't cause them personal loss to not buy a shirt from the shop. Although Sulli may think he IS the club, he isn't. It's still West Ham Unite...

8th april 1986 under the lights v southampton. Dev was magic, mac was chasing everything, could have been 5-0 but ended up 1-0. A net busting volley into the southbank by Alvin. Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

Being adept at milking a business and asset stripping does not make an owner good at running a football club. It wouldn't be your definition or mine of "good at running a football club" but on his terms "milking a business" and "asset stripping" does make him good at running a football club and he ...

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

Oz - as usual bud. Many still choose to put Sullivan’s consistent behaviour / business model down to him being a mug. There are plenty of words to describe him adequately but mug isn’t one of them. There comes a time when what up to a point could be described as optimism amongst an element of...

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

If we go another 3/4 games what are the chances we could all round on the twat again and try and force him and the OAP out of our club? Next to nothing sadly Pez. I wonder how many of those who demonstrated in front of the directors’ box v Burnley still go. Two of my best mates did so that day - ne...

I don't feel I need to have met the men who made money by putting other people's sons and daughters into sex films to know that they're pure scum.

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

Isn't it possible he has ambitions for us but is simply deluded as to what it really takes ? If you'd have put the 'delusional' argument out there two or three years into their tenure you wouldn't have had an argument from me on the grounds that it would have been a reasonable possibility to consid...

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

I just feel like everything is a shortcut, he has ambition but wants to do it as cheap as possible. This isn't directed specifically to you Gibbins - it's to anyone who still believes this. Words are as we know cheap, so forget about their big talk so what actual evidence does anyone see that point...

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

Does anybody think that David Sullivan hasn't asked himself the question this thread title posed ? Perhaps, just perhaps, he realises that his dreams for West Ham may be no more than just that , dreams ? He has no dreams for West Ham. He has dreams for which he is reliant on West Ham and all of tho...

How long were they at Birmingham?
They were there until they were hounded out by Brum fans. If the present day West Ham fan base had a fraction of what the West Ham fan base had back in the day, say for example, around the Bond scheme time then these scum would have been gone long ago.

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

I don't think it matters whether or not David Sullivan has taken us as far as he can. Its his club, and unless there is a rich buyer and he feels like selling then it's not worth thinking about. Au contraire Rodders - thinking about a Gold and Sullivan-less West Ham is pretty much the only thing wo...

Re: The lies that tarnished West Ham's good name

West Ham don't have a good name. A great sadness of the last ten to twelve years is that we've lost the good name that we undoubtedly did have. That started with Tevez and Mascherano. People can argue the toss over this one until the cows come home but at the very least our involvement in it was mu...

Nice story old mate - may I suggest you renew your vows before January and we might just win it again this year. :)
