Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.
‘Someone like that’? You should be careful making statements about people you don’t know. Kouyate represented our club for 4 years without incident as far as I’m aware. He has views based on his religion. Should we only sign players who align perfectly with your own personal views? 'Based on his re...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.
In fairness, Di Canio is a club legend and Zouma did what he did so not sure if we can take the moral high ground now on peoples views whilst playing for the club. I think with Kouyate it was moreso his international team mate. Weird hill to die on I admit though. Yeah, I see what you mean. I'm sti...

You should try telling them. I'm sure they'll change their minds.btajim - mcfc wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 12:29 pm I haven't seen one of my best friends since lockdown began. It's his birthday on Saturday. I can't get to Manchester from here and he can't get there from Stoke.
Thanks Strikers.

So only Oggy and Vlad?

Re: Genk vs West Ham Utd: match thread
I see this is another bloody 5:45ko. Anyone know any good pubs showing football near Liv St these days? The pub I tried to watch the home Genk game in first off was showing the bloody Rangers game for a couple of sweaties in there and refused to change the channel. I like Kings Stores, but it is a ...

Re: ⚽ Everton vs West Ham Utd: match thread
I think we played well yesterday. Kept them out and prevented any major threats at goal. I was surprised how poor they were though. They've spent a lot to play as badly as they did.

Got to say, they have some very unusual fans. Almost as if they don't really understand the game.

Re: That penalty
I reckon I probably have a different view to others in that I think the absurdity of Rashford's penalty run-up, and the quality of Saka's and Sancho's, is unforgiveable. Whether that's Southgate bringing them on cold is another matter. You don't do a silly little dance up to the ball, you move up sm...

Went to The Boleyn on Thursday, (re)opening night. They’ve done a fantastic job, it’s stunning. Great selection of beers, too. Ate (fish and chips) and that was lovely, too.

Mushy/Hitz BB I'm always game for a pint in Poplar. Just contact me and I'll be there I haven't been to the Pensioner for ages, but my mates state it's "A £6 a pint kinda boozer." It is a little like that. I think a round of 3 came to £16 on Saturday. But they had a 'tap takeover' so I do...

I'm a teacher and I'm getting very nervous about all of this. I come in to contact with over 300 children, minimum, every day. I have parents who are approaching 70. What if I pass it on to them?
