Re: Microsoft to buy Activision/Blizzard in $68.7B deal.

Is it still the same company, or have Activision done an Atari over the years with just the name remaining from the good old days?

Re: Michail Antonio: club legend?

I have no idea, but I stick to my opinion as it at least has easily understood criteria. Well that's pretty simple to determine, if you click on the links I've added in my two previous posts all are referred to as "legend" by their local media, fans or club. I would dare to suggest they'r...

Re: Michail Antonio: club legend?

Baines at Everton I was thinking of Duncan Ferguson DDA, but I believe he won an FA Cup. And, of course, David Ginola won the League Cup at Spurs, so according to the above "have to have won something" criteria can have the 'legend' tag rightfully bestowed upon him, unlike Shearer and Le ...

Re: Michail Antonio: club legend?

For me you have to win something to be considered a Legend. So by your rationale... Matt Le Tissier, not a Southampton legend . Alan Shearer, not a Newcastle legend . Robin Friday, not a Reading legend , even. It seems the fans of those three clubs (the first three that sprung to mind, there are of...

UTJ - Vic Watson might have been gash today?!? They all smoked Woodbines at half time back then, and sod getting in the way of one of those balls when they were booted towards goal.
And so might Bobby Moore, if those are the defining criteria...

Re: Which is the odd one out?

To be fair, many of those were on their last legs anyhow and probably wouldnt have survived. Indeed, I thought a couple had already gone (?). That'd be the likes of The Green Man and (KUMB's) The Earl of Wakefield, which I didn't mention, but all the above were viable businesses until the club move...

Yeah had done. It caused havoc with online banking doing that every time though (I manage mum's account and getting back in is a proper pain).

I think it comes back round to the Noble debate. Great player, great servant and a very popular person but he needs to win something here.
Vic Watson won nothing. Tell me he's not a legend at this club.

Michail Antonio: club legend?

The term "legend" is perhaps bandied around rather too easily these days. But with only five more West Ham goals under his belt, Michail Antonio may just have a legitimate claim to the title: https://www.kumb.com/story.php?id=136625 https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FJTa7AOXIAgPnFF?format=jpg&am...
