Re: ⚽ AFC Wimbledon v West Ham Utd: match thread

Yep and i’m entitled to request you just have a bit more about yourselves, there’s a reason it was on tv so the shock and rant is a bit over the top. The manager being embarrassed is enough for me, this is pure entertainment for opposing fans being a main WHU public forum and rightly so by our react...

Re: ⚽ AFC Wimbledon v West Ham Utd: match thread

I don't think using what is effectively the "What about the starving kids in Africa" line is particularly useful on a match day thread. Of course there are always those who are worse off, we all know that. If you all know that put it in perspective then, as the vast majority of football c...

Re: ⚽ AFC Wimbledon v West Ham Utd: match thread

Dear o dear refund the ticket price? we just got beat by a club that we helped rename itself by buying all its talent up whilst it was in **** street. A club that has had to reform to get itself back to where it originated you make it sound like we’ve suffered when all we’ve done is thrown a tantrum...

Re: Jan Transfer Window 18/19

For a fan to dig out other fans as ‘razzle dazzle bitches’ to separate himself from feeling mugged off is low really. When has this club EVER had decent owners that ploughed money in? because from my memory i’d say we’ve all been mugged off in that sense BUT stand alone in our resolute following of ...

Re: Jan Transfer Window 18/19

You only need to ask people in general from the midlands about 'Villa Fans' and they will tell you the real truth about their opinions (Villa fans) about anything football. It's like asking a Spurs fan to have humility about their team's prospects whilst they are winning. CNR.....yet you judge Sanch...

Re: Jan Transfer Window 18/19

Sorry but if we are a going to be a club trying to bridge the gap in any way and keep 60,000+ bums on seats, this is EXACTLY the window we should be buying. In the summer Gomez will have plenty of better suitors to reject any possible move here.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- Deadline day

Think you've mixed the games up - Ayew got sent off in the 15/16 2-0 win, but Sanchez didn't play in that one (Gueye had a great game for them). Sanchez was pretty good for them in the 0-0 at our place the season before that, though. Fair enough Yorks, at least you pointed out he did have a good ga...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- Deadline day

I'm sure i saw Sanchez having a blinder at UPK until Andre's little brother needlessly got sent off, they were mullering us in midfield with him at the forefront of it. Could be mistaken though. I've always seen him as a player that at the very least tries to have an effect on a game and do his bit,...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 2 days remaining

Being as fernandes didnt feature at all in pre season i guess its no surprise but coming off the bench he offered a bit of energy and mobility, Really hope we bringing in some much needed energy as thats another player gone who offered it. A midfield unit of noble, rice, wilshere, obiang really doe...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 3 days remaining

Now we are at the very end of the window we have options in place and will most likely push buttons on the final day as it always seems to happen. Lets see what we end up with before we get all negative about this window, but i have a feeling some funds are being kept back for one last big signing f...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 7 days remaining

Rice is the beneficiary of several seasons of under-investment; yes he took his chance, but in some respects he was also fortunate to receive so many. Let's not forget he was afforded the opportunity to make mistakes and not lose his place due to lack of other options (at least that's how I remembe...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 7 days remaining

I just get the feeling that Sully has his nose out of joint with Oxford, same as he has about Carroll, paid em a load of money and hasn't worked out, now wants rid I don't.... we haven't paid a fee but what he has paid for him in wages he (Oxford) hasn't shown in potential on the pitch that wouldn'...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 7 days remaining

He's 19 years old, so to say he's been here under 3 managers doesn't really tell the whole truth and the reason he is paid handsomely compared to our other youth prospects was to fend off more "attractive" suitors. Imagine the furore on here if we had flogged him to Manchester United back...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 7 days remaining

Has he been backed though? All I see is a kid who went abroad, knuckled down to get into his new club's first team, made it and then was recalled to not make an appearance only to be sent out on loan again. Sounds like mismanagement from the club more than a "billy big b*llocks" to me. We...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 7 days remaining

Dodgy greedy agent already on too much wedge and not even trying to justify it with the opportunities he's been given at West Ham he's been 'backed' more than most these youth players.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018--9 days remaining

I don't think people are saying we haven't strengthened but pointing out that it's so far only put us back on a level par on where we was a few years back. We need to recognise how many steps backwards we took on the last four transfer windows at least, before pats on the back start being handed out...

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 12 days remaining

but i cannot remember when we ever sold a player and thought "wow, that is a ridiculously high fee", or "where did that come from?" When we did sell Payet it was for half what we could have probably have got for him six months previously! I can surprisingly........when Sunderlan...
