Re: Testicular Cancer

Just get to bloody doctors, dude, no f*cking around. Could just be a twisted tube, but best to get it checked. For what it's worth I had a scare a few years ago, Docs sent me to for an ultrasound, where they ruled out anything sinister, but diagnosed Varicocele https://www.webmd.com/men/what-is-var...

Re: ⚽ Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Ham United: Match Thread

Not long back from the game, very flat performance and equally as flat atmosphere wise at the game. Just felt like we were going through the motions as soon as Wolves got their first. Massively missed Antonio tonight, we were crying out for someone to grab the game by the scruff of the neck, two ver...

Re: Who Next? The odds

Is Joe Kinnear still knocking about? Actually, better not give them any ideas.. I'd personally be happy with Dyche if we're talking realistic targets, he seems a tough character who'd go toe to toe with the board, and not take any crap off the players. He gets more out of his Burnley side than you'd...

Re: Slaven sent off (non WHU)

My father in law is a West Brom fan, he’s loving Slav so far. He did concede that he got too passionate today, that’s one way of looking at it!
Hope he gets them promoted this season.

Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham Utd: match thread

Sanchez to start possibly?
Need Antonio in there, our attacking moves are too slow and ponderous without him. I'm going for a 2-1 win with Haller and Lanzini to score for us.

Re: The one player you wish had signed for West Ham

Didn't we have a deal agreed for Didier Drogba in 2003, should we have not been relegated? I'm sure it was for something ridiculous like £1 million. He'd be my choice if so.

Re: Kanoute saves mosque

I remember him scoring the winner away to Sunderland in the FA Cup I think it was, must have been 2001 ish from memory. He was offside about 8 times before finally timing his run correctly, a very frustrating player at times but he certainly had the ability.

Some people prefer Masuaku to Cresswell for some reason..
Cresswell isn’t perfect, but he’s so much better than Masuaku ffs.

Re: Robert Snodgrass signs

He comes across as a really likeable bloke and seems to be popular amongst the other players as well which makes his upturn in form all the more pleasing. Not the quickest or most skillful, but what a fantastic left foot and generally really good vision. Seems to create a few chances a game and work...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

What we'd give for a Scott Parker type player right now. Someone to take the team by the scruff of the neck. Not sure it'd make that much difference having a decent DM in the team when they'd constantly be trying to make up for our CMs lack of pace and strength, and covering our full backs. We need ...

Re: Robert Snodgrass signs

Feel like this thread deserves some more attention.
I think Snodgrass has done really well since being called back into the team, a neat and tidy footballer with a great left foot. He’s been brought in from the abyss and it feels like he’s taking his chance.

Re: Arsenal v West Ham Utd: match thread (25/8)

I thought we were excellent at times today, clearly dropped off when Arnautovic went off as expected. Really poor error for the second goal but that's the lad's first start in the PL. Personally would never play Hernandez up front on his own, he's too slow and doesn't get in behind enough. I'd bring...

My dad asked me to get him a programme yesterday and everywhere had ran out by just after 14.30. Even the main distribution tent thing near gate H area. Minor problem compared with some of the issues at the stadium, but still really poor.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2018- 40 days remaining

Does anyone remember Lacina Traoré, the 6'8 striker who we desperately wanted but instead chose Everton? Think he played one game for them and then suffered a season ending injury, very West Ham like. He's available on a free after a pretty dramatic downturn in fortune.
