Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

But his point was they were in a relegation battle. One win didn't change that.

Re: Plastic fantastic

The terms 'plastic' and 'tourist' are simply insults handed out in the same way and perhaps by the same people that use 'noobs' to describe the inexperienced; Pointless and childish. Some of the most passionate support comes from fans described this way.

Not like you to post opinion as FACT, CH.

Of course I might have missed something.

Re: Plastic fantastic

There is no way I'd take my young grandchildren to an away game. Not worth the potential upset they might endure (on top of seeing us lose). They enjoy wearing all sorts of football shirts though and do follow cult players like Ronaldo and Messi. Can't blame them, I have always enjoyed seeing big na...

Re: Dear Citizens of the Peoples Republic of KUMB

I avoid all other WHU social media sites and forums. Far, far too abusive.

Rio and Co do a difficult job well; managing the Moyes thread is a particularly thankless task.

Keep up the good work.

Re: West Ham United v Aston Villa: match thread (17.03.24)

I have just watched the highlights again on Sky (website video) and slowed it down. The first handball decision was harsh on Antonio, but letter of the law. The Kudos one I don't get. I think probably Emersons was handball which we got away with, Soucek deliberately moves the ball with his arm towa...

Re: West Ham United -v- SC Freiburg - 2nd leg match thread - 14.03.24

My three grandsons this morning:-

7yo 'Alexa, play We are West Ham's navy blue army'
5yo number 1 'Did I dream that West Ham won 5-0 or did it really happen?'
5yo number 2 'I've lost some of my voice, when do I get it back?'

What a brilliant evening.

Taking three young grandsons with me tonight. The last time one of them came with me was Arsenal....The only time I've taken all three was Bristol City.

The omens are crap.

Re: 1st game with children

You can do any of the London sightseeing bits before/after the game. Just make sure you are in Stratford an hour before kick off (more if you want to visit the club shop). If possible work out a route from Stratford to the ground that avoids the main 2 bridges before and after the game. If you are g...

Re: Premier League sack race

This is the thing. When you see the jobs that are potentially coming up in the Summer then I’m worried who we could end up with especially when you factor in Sullivan. Going to be an interesting Summer once the merry-go-round starts and will have a knock on effect on the transfer market. Hopefully ...

Re: Everton vs West Ham United Match Thread

3-0 Everton. We are far too open at the back currently and one thing Dyche knows is how to organise a defence so I can't see us scoring.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

Re the walk back the station.... Just don't exit via the main two bridges and you avoid all of the stop/go nonsense. You can head for PML, Hackney Wick, Stratford international or the bridge near the Carpenter's. I never get why people join those massive queues but then I never understood queuing at...
