Re: Bayer Leverkusen v West Ham Utd Europa QF 1st leg match thread

Oh well. Beaten by much the better team.

I'll enjoy next Thursday but I am realistic enough to know we need a miracle.

Re: Bayer Leverkusen v West Ham Utd Europa QF 1st leg match thread

They are comfortably better than Munich this season, who just drew at the Emirates. Since we won there Arsenal have been on an incredible run.

I reckon BL could keep the top 3 PL sides company.

My meniscus never properly healed. I fear he's out for the remainder of the season.

Re: Where will we finish?

We're on 48 points so we need 4 wins (to get to 60 points), that's also assuming: Chelsea pick up 15 points (to get to 59 points) from the remaining: Everton (H) Brighton (A) Man City (A) Arsenal (A) Villa (A) Spurs (H) West Ham (H) Forest (A) Bournemouth (H) Prediction: A very difficult run combin...

Re: Bite-sized FA Cup Quiz

Handball from a corner in the last minute mate wasn’t it ? Then up stepped Tonka… Indeed. Never have understood what was going through the bloke's mind. That was basically the Villa European cup winning team. It was scored at the South Bank end, which had been allocated to Villa but somehow a few h...

Re: Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Ham United - match thread

I'd keep Zouma in for this one and bring in Aguerd for the less physical Bayer Leverkusen. Alvarez back, rest Antonio, move Jarrod up top and JWP in the centre of the three behind him.

Re: Plastic fantastic

The terms 'plastic' and 'tourist' are simply insults handed out in the same way and perhaps by the same people that use 'noobs' to describe the inexperienced; Pointless and childish. Some of the most passionate support comes from fans described this way.
