Re: Declan Rice

What else is he supposed to do though? Keep quiet Yes. Exactly this. It’s not his job to talk to the media. We all know Rice wants to go. Why make it about anything over than winning our first trophy in 43 years? It’s classless. I’m not annoyed that Rice is leaving. Players come and go - the better...

Re: Declan Rice

Declan is just another famous name and exceptional talent who’s being sold on.

Our chairman is trying to justify the reasoning in attempt to prove that he “cares”.

Same as it’s ever been.

Re: 🏆 ACF Fiorentina vs West Ham Utd: match thread (UEFA Europa Conference League Final)

Final walk around the old town before we leave. I can’t put into words what I felt when that ball hit the net, or when Declan ran to us at the whistle and fell to his knees. Literally a lifetime of waiting and frustration for this released in bellowing roars into the Prague sky. Even if we kick on a...

If we do lose, I won't mind as much that it's to another proper team that have gone through a trophy drought!
Feel the same. All the best mate.

Re: England Mens Cricket 2023

Not much incentive for county cricket is it? True, but then in fairness, you could say the same about many sports. It is not uncommon when an old footballer is drafted into a tournament squad because of a late injury. International standard spinners in England are generally singular in volume and w...

Re: England Mens Cricket 2023

Do they go for the inexperienced Rehan Ahmed? If you’re good enough, you’re old enough…. Ahmed has taken six wickets from six matches so far this season and whilst he has a strong googly, his leg break is not at the level required for an Ashes series in England. That being said, the Aussies have a ...

Re: England Mens Cricket 2023

I think it’ll be Wood in for Leach considering Stoke’s knee.

They’ll try Root for the first and maybe second test to hold an end. The advantage is that it’s in England.

It’s a big blow make no doubt, but again, softened a little because the series is here.

Re: England Mens Cricket 2023

Well, I don't regret buying the tickets now!

The bowling has obviously been poor but let's take nothing away from scoring 500 off 80 overs. Shot selection has been tremendous.

Re: ACF Fiorentina vs West Ham Utd: match thread (UEFA Europa Conference League Final)

People are unsurprisingly nervous about losing, but for any younger fans who don't remember our 2006 FA Cup loss to Liverpool, don't worry too much about the prospect of losing. It's not all bad. Yes, losing will be absolutely gutting, but you will never regret that you watched West Ham in a final....

Pretty sure it's Anang the 3rd keeper (as Trott is out on loan). Might be wrong.

Re: England Mens Cricket 2023

I would also say that I think they are worried about Stokes being able to bowl this summer. It may be that they end up dropping Crawley (or one of the batters) and bringing Curran or Woakes in at 7 to cover the bowling shortfall. That's a fair point and I think that they'd be removing Leach and rel...

I woke up at 4.15am today after dreaming about Julian and Carlton Cole putting us 2-0 up after 8 minutes.

I then silently sang bubbles in my head and realised that there is no chance of me going back to sleep.

Please West Ham. Just this once.

Re: England Mens Cricket 2023

Big Irish Gits? I know they can't leaveBairstow out, but, I may be wrong, I'd want a specialist keeper for the Ashes. Foulkes is no rabbit with the bat, I'd have JB open. Bairstow has always kept wicket for Yorkshire. I don't buy that he isn't a specialist keeper. He just isn't in the top 3 worldwi...

International summer test cricket is back. West Ham are in a final and we get to see Chesney Hawkes at the fan park.

What a time to be alive!

Looking forward to seeing Bairstow back in action, hopefully he comes out in the same form as he was before the injury.
