Re: Is now a good time for the season to be suspended?

So Arsenal, who haven’t got enough players to fulfil their fixtures have today released another senior player (Kolasinac). What a ****ing joke, they are taking the piss in full view and don’t even care

Re: FA Cup Third Round.

Rashford needs to simplify his game, he’s quick and has a decent shot. Stop ****ing about trying to be clever and beating a man 2 or 3 times and make half a yard and shoot or cross. Seems he’s got no interest in just doing the basic thing to get a goal or create a chance

So you're looking at banning all forms of combustion to ensure that no pollutants are exposed into the environment?
No it just seems that anything someone may do that isn’t necessary and could potentially damage someone else’s health should be banned?

They already are. We’ve had a ban on smoking indoors in public places for how long?
What about outdoors though? You can inhale smoke outdoors too that can damage your health

I think smokers should be banned from mixing with the public also, they clearly are a risk to other people health and put a strain on the health service

So you've pretty much just proved my point - the jury let them off because they agreed with their reasoning for breaking the law.

Anyway, I'm off to break into Madame Tussauds to destroy the Michael Jackson waxwork.

Re: Coronavirus

As I said I had no real reaction to the first two jabs (some tiredness) for a few days but nothing major. Not sure what last night was. I asked how they decide on booster and the bloke doing mine said if you have had Moderna you get a third if you have had AZ or Pfizer you get Pfizer, Hopefully he ...

Re: Is now a good time for the season to be suspended?

No, but you're comparing apples and oranges. That same young and healthy 25 year old would have a milder case if they were fully vaccinated than if they weren't. Much like that 80 year old would have a much higher of survival if they were jabbed. The myth that this virus is flu like and barely impa...

Re: Which Club Are We Trying to Be?

It depends what success is deemed as really. I can’t see us being in a position whereby we win a league or even regularly a cup. As much as I hate to say it we should be looking to get to where Tottenham are. Go back around 15 years and we were similar clubs/teams. If we can play regular European fo...

Re: Coronavirus

I had something similar a few weeks back, as did my mate who's a GP. At the time, he said that there's a growing body of evidence that having the jab(s) can in some way leave people vulnerable to viruses other than Covid. If I have this right, most often (usually?) the respiratory problems you expe...

We are struggling because our defence is injured, nothing to do with Soucek or Rice. Didn’t Soucek only have about 5 goals up until Xmas last season?

How can they make a reasonable informed decision on whether more or less restrictions are needed from those definitions?? If you’ve tested positive for Covid within 14 days of being admitted regardless of why you are there then you’re a Covid hospitalisation? Absolutely crazy

Or....at first scientists weren't certain on the main way the virus spreads, then they realised it was through aerosols, then the advice changed.

Good to see you didn't waste all the tinfoil on the turkey :newthumb:
Does it spread differently to other respiratory viruses then?

Re: Coronavirus

I suppose it depends if the real world follows the maths of the last week over the next 2 weeks. Infections up 7 fold and hospitalizations up something like 12 fold in the last 7 days. Still low numbers at this point but the rates must be a bit of a concern if we have about 5,000 beds free. I know ...
