Re: West Ham Utd vs Sunderland: match thread

Yesterday I felt they boxed Payet and Lanzini in quite well to be honest and did not give them any space in which to work their magic. This could be why it looked as though they were in each others way more often than not.

Couldn't find the appropriate thread to post this (feel free to move it mods) but I saw some pics on twitter of Sam and Geoff signing the 'Farewell Boleyn' Board . Re: West Ham Utd vs Sunderland: match thread

Thought Kouyate had a blinder first half breaking up play taking players on and beating them comfortably. Keep it going fella :crest:

Re: West Ham Utd vs Sunderland: match thread

_fortunes_wrote I'd check their stats before laughing out loud so readily Enlighten me then. They may be sitting in 19th place but their 'goals for' is much better than teams higher up which means they score goals more often than not. Their wins against Aston Villa, Newcastle, Swansea, Manchester U...

Re: West Ham Utd vs Sunderland: match thread

What bothers me about this game (and other games following a win) is the complacency that seems to take hold. If Allardyce sets them up to attack from the off we could be in for a torrid time. Still think we'll be too strong for them though.

Re: Liverpool v West Ham United: Match Thread

First things first, great performance today by all of the guys, pleasure to watch. Kouyate and Obiang don't stop running, Payet's footwork is something else and Ogbonna had a great game IMHO- plus, hopefully Lanzini turns out to be something! Out of idle curiosity, who took the armband from Nobes a...

Happy f*cking days :scarfer: Woke the family up 3 times tonight/this morning... So proud of the boys, everyone deserves the highest of plaudits. Re: West Ham Utd v AFC Bournemouth: match thread

Even with a Charlie Austin or Ayew in the side today we would have lost. We haven't got worse players than Leicester or Bournemouth. Tactics have lost us both matches. Goals, goals, goals but are you seriously happy with our performance today? I honestly see us losing by 5 or 6 at Anfield. A nucleu...

Re: West Ham Utd v AFC Bournemouth: match thread

Cresswell might as well been awarded the first two Bournemouth goals. Nothing to do with tactics, the owners, the manager or the fans. The buck stops at a plyer who was unprofessional and seems to think. he's undroppable. Yep. Both he and Jenks gifted them 2 goals. If you include the penalty thats 3...

Re: West Ham Utd v AFC Bournemouth: match thread

They were gifted 3 of their goals from simple basic mistakes by Jenkinson and Cresswell ffs. We came back well enough in the second half to show the spirit and desire needed to win these games. Tactics are ok imo because we set up to attack the opposition so we dictate the tempo. What's wrong with t...

Re: West Ham Utd v AFC Bournemouth: match thread

_fortunes_ Maybe there's a communication issue between the back 4....it seemed to me anyway that Cresswell passed it back to Ogbonna for their second . Surely the management team haven't just clocked that Og is the only non speaking English man in that back four? It's a bit strange to spend nearly ...

Re: West Ham Utd v AFC Bournemouth: match thread

That was again lost in the first half . Really poor defending by the full backs ....... Giving away the 3rd goal was criminal by Jenkinson .....not only poor defending ...but putting your team down 10 was criminal. Midfield went missing too ....Payet not in the game .. Need to sort them before next...
