If we go down and they go up, where do you think he'll want to play?
We'll sell him and ask them to loan him back

Re: [POLL] Are YOU happy at the Olympic/London Stadium?

Location wise it suits me fine, I can be home within 5 minutes. The atmosphere can be a bit sh*t but I think that's our responsibility. But still I have to say NO purely because it's not a football stadium and were all too far away from the pitch.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Doesn’t it just make you sick when once again we miss out on a transfer because of money. It really shows how unambitious our owners really are once again dragging their heels when we are just about to cross the line. What hope do we really have, feel sorry for any manager that comes to us because ...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

That really doesn't make sense. What's the point in asking for a move if there's no interest in him (from a better club that is of course) The question was - why hasn't no club come in for him. And it was answered with "because everyone knew he wouldn't leave. I believe it's the other way around

Just a loan, no obligation, that means there’s no reason not to buy Berge...
Rice, Fernandes and Berge....would mean we'd have a good midfield with potential to be great. That's probably the biggest reason we wont sign Berge.

Because he isn't interested in moving? The majority of transfers are agent driven.
Or he was never interested in moving because there was no bids.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I wonder what position Fenerbahce, Marseille and Lyon plan to use Masuaku in if they sign him. All three clubs are alot more successful than West Ham, Maybe he's not as bad a defender as many make out.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I've seen enough of Cullen to have come to the opinion three years ago that he wasnt gonna make it with us. He'll have a decent career at Championship/League 1 level. He's the same age as Fornals. Regarding Fernandes, he's not the biggest, but likes a tackle and can get about the pitch. Alongside Ri...

Are we going to hear this overwhelming negativity with every signing that isn't 40m or higher? :thdn:

Allen isn't the answer to all of our problems, but he is an an answer to one of our problems. Same with Randolph.
For the first eleven?

Re: U23

Holland took his goal very well tonight, undeniably a talent, but also incredibly light weight, would imagine he'd need to bulk up a fair bit. Kemp and Powell both looked good too.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

it isn't *that* easy to purchase a reserve keeper, especially when a club has an absolutely undisputed number 1 like we do who will probably be first choice for at least 18 months There are not that many keepers who would be prepared to give up any real chance of first team football Randolph isnt t...

For a striker his size he should be winning aerial duels though. We took Arnautovic’s physicality and work rate for granted I think.
:? But Haller's won more ariel duels than any player in the whole league. 127! 14 more than the next player.

One thing I've heard is Samuelson extended loan has been refused so maybe Moyes has plans for him in our first team (hope so as he looks skilful).
Samuelson is never gonna make it as a Premier League player, no chance

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

Henderson is incredibly underrated imo. To say Noble is a better footballer than the current Champions League winning captain is some statement. Surely a top manager at a top club would have noticed this talent at some stage.

Which bit wasn’t the harsh? The point that he hadn’t played as well for 12 months (when he has) or the suggestion that he’s in tune with the owners and deliberately downs tools against a struggling manager?
Both points

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

Top post Pezza. Dont think its harsh at all. What I dont understand is its widely accepted/demanded that we need to sign a centre midfielder with a bit of pace and power but then so many think that Noble is such an important player within the team. Surely it's Nobles position that any new midfielder...
