Re: Declan Rice

For a 20 year old playing in a position he's only played In for just over a year I find the criticism harsh, of course he needs to improve on things but you could pick out flaws and make a list of things any 20 year old needs to improve on. Keane was a great player and a s*** manager, as a pundit he...

So yes have your opinions, but please dont ever think they hold equal value to supporters - not fans - supporters.
To think your opinion is valued more than others because you travel x-amount of miles or attend x-amount of games is optimistic.

Mark Noble would get in 15 other Premier League teams??? I take it following west ham everywhere means you don't watch many other games.

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

As I've said before, I'll take Noble as proper West Ham over 80% of our ground each week. I cant believe anyone that claims to support us doesn't have the utmost respect for him :thdn: Who doesn't respect him? And what does Noble do that makes him more West Ham than the people who spend there money...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

In the current playing staff we have at the club, I stand by that! Hardly an accomplishment to not be disliked by your teammates. Are there any examples of any players not liking any of the other players in the squad? Other than the comments by Rice, are there any other examples of youngsters he's ...

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Manchester City: Match Thread (10/8)

Progress to be made by stopping them from scoring four. 1-3. Haller.
Leaving Noble out, 5 of the following don't make the bench. Johnson, Diangana and 3 unhappy hammers. Great to see though

Reid
Ogbonna
Masuaku/Cresswell
Johnson
Zabaleta
Sanchez
Snodgrass
Yarmolenko
Diangana
Antonio
Hernandez

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

Even 64-80 had a relegation and some near misses , fact is this board really isn't much different to any other we,ve had in terms of ambition Exactly... in the good old days of 80' when we won the cup we obviously weren't very good as we weren't even in the top division. Yes we should have ambition...

Well other than the 16 years between 64-80 That's what life as a West ham fan has meant unless I'm missing something.

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

I don't know what your point is? Are we under-achieving by not reaching the Champions League final now? Leicester finished above us even with a manager they deemed worthy of sacking and a tragedy in the early/middle of the season. Maybe if not for awful investment we wouldn't need to throw more mon...

Over the last 5 years here are the clubs that have averaged 50m net spend: Manchester City Manchester United Arsenal That's all. Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

So many financial experts here, I'm surprised noones made a quick billion, bought the club and put an end to all the club's problems. Clubs like Bouremouth and Brighton have high net spends... probably because they're squads on half the wages ours are. Should we have out bid them for the players the...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

For the record, since the summer of 2016. We come in at 8th highest in transfer fees paid (£30m more than Spurs). We are in 10th place in terms of net spend (£30m less than A.Villa). It really isn't about what you spend - but who you spend it on. I guess I'm in the minority but after years of random...
