Re: Bayer Leverkusen v West Ham Utd Europa QF 1st leg match thread
Unfortunately I think for us it's more than likely our season both domestically and European is over. I'm away on holiday for the second leg so am resigned to the fact that after following us home and away in Europe with my old man since 1975 the game is up. He's 90 next season so the last 3 years o...

Rain, cloud and sun today in Sudbury. Was contemplating going to the first day of our local brewery 4 day Easter beer festival but binned it off. Weather looks better for tomorrow so will wander down and try a few guest ales tomorrow.

GB News getting all orgasmic at the Lee Anderson defection. They just described Lee as the sort of person who won't be phased by crossing the floor of the commons because he doesn't care what others think of him. The same Lee Anderson who refused to vote against the government after he said he heard...

GB News coverage of the budget really is at desperate levels. Trying to convince people how amazing it is that they can invest an extra £5k a year into an ISA. It's as if they don't realise the percentage of UK adults that actually use the current £20k limit.

We have always found the cable car to be popular with kids coming to visit us, plus there are some good shops, bars and restaurants at the O2

Once a passport and your biometric details have been logged afterthe first time, passport use at ports should be no more arduous than it is now. Some sort of out of port passport registration centre that can be visited leading up to the date of travel would seem like the most sensible thing to do. ...

We moved to a village in Suffolk a couple years ago and like all good villages the pub is the heart of the village and where everyone congregates at weekends, does seem a bit strange going in and staying sober but has helped me realise who the village idiot is (amazing what you tolerate with a few d...

I'm no stock market guru but I do hold some Tesco shares so the figures above are a bit misleading. You need to factor in dividends over those 10 as well as the share consolidation in 2021 when share holders were paid a special dividend and for every 19 shares you received 15 new ones. Tesco have al...
