Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United:Match thread (19/02)

Logically, they would play far harder if they were in the race for the league - but they're not. Logically, they would play far harder if they were chasing a Champions league place - but maybe they're not. Blocked jets in the carburettor or a distributer problem? Could be one of many things. Think you'll have to take it to mechanic to diagnose.

Any plans for the KUMB Battalion to rendezvous?

We could identify ourselves by wearing something striking. A KUMB armband, or lingerie or something.
Lingerie? We should wear chastity belts to show we won't be raped again!

Re: Protests against the board being planned

As discussed in another thread, football, at the moment is broken. The only way ALL football fans can reclaim the game WE own and love is to stand together. Spirit of Shankly get this and hopefully many more teams' fans will join in! :scarfer:

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Hammers United may have to consider some form of fundraising. We are effectively trying to campaign with one hand behind our backs.I personally am around £250 down and other committee members varying amounts. If we do, it will be laid out with total transparency.Receipts available for inspection etc...

I have a mate who writes for the Guardian. Apparently they're investigating the sale of the Boleyn.
Not before time! There's a massive can of worms there that needs opened.

12 pages about a mythical takeover story made up by the board

This is legendary! Hopefully gave GSB a collective coronary. Plus loads of people who don't know what it means will be googling to find out the truth. Top, top photo bombing :scarfer:

No chance bowen will be ready. Not even sure he's good enough - championship player.

No, we need to keep it tight and play for corners.
Fair enough, though I would put a bag of cement in rather than Sanchez!

I would like to see an owner/owners who are happy to let football people run the club. Not post stupid arms crossed pictures in purple smoking jackets, post inane comments on twitter or allow their pampered offspring to treat the club as their own personal playground. Owners who implement a structu...
