Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Arsenal :Match thread (9/12)

I see goals in this one, I reckon 3 - 2 to us. We generally do well in London derbies and Arsenal are awful, almost as bad as we are so I suspect home advantage will give us an edge. I just hope we see the Chelsea effort and movement than the static Wolves performance, which wasn't as bad as some ha...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Can we all get our heads around the fact Husillos was anything but a DoF, the whole appointment of a manager picking a DoF and the dwarf allowing it shows you all you need to know about the ****wit who runs our football club. I think I've said it before, but the DoF is there to set the agenda on how...

Anderson deserves to be dropped as much as Haller. He is lucky that we don't have anyone in any kind of form to replace him.
He does - Holland, scoring around 1 every game fir the U23's and in my view deserves a place on the bench.

If the rumours are true that's what I was thinking.
They were mate - they are ****ing low life scumbags our top brass - no class. Look at how Spurs and Arsenal conduct themselves, then look at the way our second hand car dealer spivs do things. I have nothing but utter contempt for them all.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

That was good old fashioned middle finger to the dwarf from Pelle today wasn't it. Got the team playing as we like, drive, workrate, determination. Picked the right players for the right positions and had a slight tweak to the font 4 with Fornals and Anderson getting closer to Antonio. I just hope w...

Re: ⚽ Chelsea v West Ham United: Match thread (30/11)

The board are in a bit of a pickle now having spent all week talking to new managers .... Pelle at last picks the right side, with the right shape, round pegs in round holes, Fornals in his customary left midfield position, Snods wide right, Antonio tearing around up front and a keeper who looks lik...

Re: ⚽ Chelsea v West Ham United: Match thread (30/11)

It just goes to show that if the team applies themselves in the right way results come. we weren't miles better creating chances but everyone put a shift in and that translates to a decent result. It makes a huge difference having a keeper who at least acts like a keeper though doesn't it ... he loo...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Good manager but on his final pay cheque. I honestly dont think he can turn it around because the team just looks so disinterested and isn't buying in to whatever he is trying to put in place on the training ground. The shape of the side is all wrong, we dont look threatening in attack and look scar...

It was a horrendous episode but to lay it at one man's door would be unfair since it was hundreds of scousers who entered with dodgy tickets I assume who caused the mayhem.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

 Reducing the debt = more profit on sale when the clause runs out. Funny how the trajectory to being totally debtfree seems to tie in time-wise with the lapsing of the LS clause, as well as the extension of a few players contracts beyond that date and, finally, a reduction in transfer budget ...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

If Pelle goes here is the person I reckon they will go for if we are still lurking near the bottom three come xmas if not done in the next few games, not my choice but because it ticks all the incompetent dwarf's boxes: 1, Out of work ... tick 2. No comp to pay for his services .. tick 3. Proven fir...

Re: West Ham United v Tottenham Hotspur: Match Thread 23/11/2019

What they need to do is get the half baked, 2 days a week slacker names Brady who masquerades as some female superhuman out of the club. She offers nothing and makes the club a laughing stock. With that money hire a football person like David Dean to revamp the club and put in place a long term stra...

Thought Kane refereed that game superbly. And as has become the norm, it appears being England skipper also gives you free reign to get away with virtually anything. We look devoid of anything. Not only passion, desire, ability and all the technical and tactical traits needed, but also the ability ...

Didn’t know Bielsa turned us down.

I guess that must’ve been before we employed MP, but the impression was that he was lined up for a while.
Before we hired Bilic mate.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

The situation looks messy. A new manager coming in now has not got much to work with squad wise. Then there is paying off Pellegrini and his back room staff. Then appointing a new manager and his staff, paying up compensation to there clubs - if they are currently working. That a lot of millions, w...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

And let’s not forget Rafa currently is in China. Like many I’m genuinely at a loss to suggest who we could REALISTICALLY get that we would want, and who would improve us. Would be nice to get a young, exciting manager, but most of those don’t have experience at this level so it’s a big risk getting...

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

Nearly 10yrs after the takeover, we're still massively in debt, have a stadium we don't own, just 3 top 10 finishes, 6 managers and perilously close to going down (again). Fraudster.
Actually you're wrong, we have a low level of debt, around 38m, but this was not bank debt, it was sharehold...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

The manager wasn’t backed in the transfer window? Not according to him. Approaching Oxford was our highest league position of the season and there were no rumours of MPs job being at risk. That’s happening now, so how do you explain the form in between? Motivating the team is down to the manager & h...

Re: Pochettino leaves Spurs. (Mourinho confirmed)

I would think Levy pulled the rip cord because he needs champions league football to sustain the cost of the stadium, there is no way Europa league or worse will work for them, they are now in serious debt and though they have a wealthy shareholder they have as far as I am aware never put their own ...
