Grey area drinking. I'd say this is where I'm at. Periods of sobriety with intermittent drinking. Binge drinking. Drinking followed by regret Can always stop drinking whenever I want but then eventually go back to any of the points above This TedX is quite old now but it's new to me. https://youtu.b...

He's even wearing the winners' ribbons.

I bet he went to a public school.

Re: Need a new car

Its a 2009 Westfalia Marco Polo, full service history, only two owners and less than 60k miles on the clock. It looks mint. I've only ever bought bangers before, my last car cost me £350. Since the missus' second cancer diagnosis last year I've been viewing life a bit differently so I've cashed in a...

Re: Need a new car

Afternoon you lovely lot. I'm **** at buying cars so I'm after some advice please. I've seen a car I like but it's in Belfast. It's not really practical to go and view it beforehand so how should I go about buying it or negotiating a good price. I kind of feel once I'm on the plane I'm committed to ...

Re: Little things that irritate you

Perhaps take a VitD supplement, Eggy. I'm sure another poster was giving this advice last year sometime. Since I've been on them I haven't had so much as a sniffle. Nothing. I take 4000iu with K2 to ensure proper obsorbtion. It's the best 8p a day, you'll ever spend! Well that post didn't age well....

Re: What’s in your Bits Drawer?

^^^^ The average Brit’s ‘ bits and bobs drawer ’ contains six batteries, three phone chargers, five ‘unspecified’ cables – and four takeaway menus. It’s also home to four mysterious keys with no known lock, six pens and pencils, and five instruction manuals. https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/...
