Re: Declan Rice

Rice is world class. There's a few Arsenal players who went missing last night and it certainly wasn't him. I thought Saka and Martinelli stunk the place out in all honesty.

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

My Dad has sent me a jpg of the ticket. He's somehow copied the ticket into a new email, instead of just forwarding it on, and I can't print it off in the right size as the format is weird. Not going to have any problems am I?

Woken up thinking we’re going to do this. Why do I do it to myself?

Big shout out to all Tottenham fans hoping we win tonight to help out with 5th.

I propose a 24 hour amnesty on both sides of the debate. Let’s just give it a rest for a bit.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

I've not looked closely enough but i assume that Everton, Forrest and Leicester will all have tough decisions in the summer too. This is where we come in and make the gap between us in 7th/8th bigger than everyone else wanting to join the party. I'd be looking to pick them off, force their hand wit...

All Moyes has to say is there is a tiny chance Bowen will be on the bench and I'm going to go book my flights to Dublin.

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

We have to play on the front foot - Leverkusen will love facing us playing on the front foot and therefor getting more space in front of our back four. We'll need a decent portion of luck, to get back into the tie. But it's football. Equally, we can't stay in games long enough and concede late goals.

Re: ✍️ Welcome Lucas Paquetá - Our Brazilian Magnifico

Here's a conundrum for you all.

Do we want the investigation concluded so we can sell him and bank the money or hope it drags on to next season, meaning City back off but we run the risk of him being suspended for a long while?

Re: Midweek games

It''ll either be City or Arsenal winning it. I don't think the other half of the draw beats either of those sides personally.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Based on the bottom sides, and who we could cherrypick if they go down, I would look at the below. Left back - Alfie Doughty (Luton) 1 goal and 7 assists in 32 games, 24 years old. Allows us to rotate, play a 5 at the back, and push Emerson up if we want to sometimes. Centre midfield - Onana (Everto...

Would like to see JWP in the No.10 if possible. I think that's where's best, don't like it when he plays deeper.

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

Bowen has to be on the bench. If the game is lost, he doesn’t come on. However I don’t know what the injury is like, I’m just irrationally calling for it.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

When I see names like Benitez, a great manager in his day, but his day has gone, Cooper and Potter mentioned I can genuinely understand what the "careful what you wish for" brigade mean. The whole point of changing a manager surely is to upgrade on the one presently in the job. Does anybo...

I've said for months, it'll be one out of Cooper, Potter or Benitez.

I think Cooper would do alright, he has experience working for a chaotic owner and having players bought for him.

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

Despite all of our problems right now, I absolutely cannot wait for Thursday. Leaving the office at 12, weather should be reasonably ok, and we're in a European quarter final. We may go out, but these are the games you look forward to. Fulham at home and Palace away, with respect to them both, can g...

I make you right Eggy, the league will be far more competitive next season with Leeds/Ipswich and Leicester most likely being better than the current three.

Whoever it is, it's a huge job.

I'd have him on the bench, even if one of his feet has been amputated. If we were to take it to extra time, it would be a big lift.
