I don’t see why we can’t sort out what’s happening with the manager this week. Either:
1. Announce a new contract.
2. Announce his departure. And any players choosing to sack it off won’t be making a good impression on the new man.
Utterly pointless waiting another 5 games. Just get on with it.

Re: FA Cup replays scrapped
I think scrapping the League Cup is a better use of everyone's time.
In regard to this, we need to increase the prize money big time to make this worthwhile for clubs lower down the pyramid.

100%. I would like to make a change, but he should be given a guard of honour against Luton if it is the end of his time here.We_are_BML wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 11:32 am The man has given us the best three years following this club so for that he is a West Ham legend in my eyes.

Re: Crystal Palace v West Ham Utd - Match Thread
I fear this comes a bit too soon after last night. They gave it everything and despite the players that will return, the rest will be knackered after an hour. 1-3 loss for me Yeah, I agree. I'd be very surprised if we get anything from this. I won't criticise the players or the manager for that eit...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)
I probably have never said this before and probably won’t say it again, but I thought you could toss a coin between Coufal and Cresswell for MOTM in that first half. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen Cresswell play better for us. Love Emerson, but not sure he’d have changed much for us tonight. Absolutel...

I like to think I’m a fair poster, but I do think that’s our lot this year now. Nobody is getting out of bed to try and finish 7th which is already running away from us.

Any criticism of Paqueta has to include Emerson. The pair of ***** cost us tonight by not being available.

Tonight I saw a side that gave ****ing everything. Proud of everyone. If this is the last dance it’s been a bloody blast.
Anyone coming on here slagging off the manager tonight is a dirty little virgin.

Re: Declan Rice
Rice is world class. There's a few Arsenal players who went missing last night and it certainly wasn't him. I thought Saka and Martinelli stunk the place out in all honesty.

My Dad has sent me a jpg of the ticket. He's somehow copied the ticket into a new email, instead of just forwarding it on, and I can't print it off in the right size as the format is weird. Not going to have any problems am I?

I propose a 24 hour amnesty on both sides of the debate. Let’s just give it a rest for a bit.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
I've not looked closely enough but i assume that Everton, Forrest and Leicester will all have tough decisions in the summer too. This is where we come in and make the gap between us in 7th/8th bigger than everyone else wanting to join the party. I'd be looking to pick them off, force their hand wit...

All Moyes has to say is there is a tiny chance Bowen will be on the bench and I'm going to go book my flights to Dublin.

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)
We have to play on the front foot - Leverkusen will love facing us playing on the front foot and therefor getting more space in front of our back four. We'll need a decent portion of luck, to get back into the tie. But it's football. Equally, we can't stay in games long enough and concede late goals.

Re: ✍️ Welcome Lucas Paquetá - Our Brazilian Magnifico
Here's a conundrum for you all.
Do we want the investigation concluded so we can sell him and bank the money or hope it drags on to next season, meaning City back off but we run the risk of him being suspended for a long while?

Re: Midweek games
It''ll either be City or Arsenal winning it. I don't think the other half of the draw beats either of those sides personally.
