Sevilla was deafening to be fair, the whole ground was at it.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I make you right Eggy, the league will be far more competitive next season with Leeds/Ipswich and Leicester most likely being better than the current three.

Whoever it is, it's a huge job.

I'd have him on the bench, even if one of his feet has been amputated. If we were to take it to extra time, it would be a big lift.

Ings as a No.10? Johnson as a CM?

Love it, let’s do it.

I’d also like to make a change, i don’t like watching us, and haven’t done for ages.

But, show the man some respect. Really crappy comments that aren’t based in any logic a lot of the time.

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

Out of our three seasons in Europe, this is by far and away the best side we’ve faced. We was only a goal down to Sevilla, self destructed against Frankfurt and was a better side than Fiorentina. We’ve got injuries, suspensions and a team that looks like they can’t do any more than 60 minutes. If we...

I genuinely thought we played really well up until a point.

Antonio, Mavropanos and Paqueta being idiots isn’t on the manager today imo..

Thought we’ve played quite well but the defensive mistakes have cost us all season. It’s alarming how it’s not a surprise when it happens.

Re: Where will we finish?

Who were we on the verge of signing though? As usual the sales were last minute so we must have been set to go with replacements. That or the manager and dof got royally stitched up so there probably were no replacements ever coming. I think we was looking at a guy called Osman? I think your last p...

Options the manager wanted and could use. It’s killed the season imo.

I give us around 20% chance of 7th. Had we replaced the players we sold in January I think we’d have been right in the conversation for 6th.

Re: ✍️ Welcome Lucas Paquetá - Our Brazilian Magnifico

As talented as he is, if he was playing for another club I think we’d all be calling him out for diving. Let’s have it right. Wonderful player on his day but he doesn’t endear himself to me with those theatricals. Correct. I think he’s a wonderful player, and amongst our stodge and difficulty watch...

Re: Postecoglou: are the cracks beginning to show? [non WHU]

Will definitely be interesting next season how they get on but I just feel when you from Nuno, Mourinho and Conte, three managers who have a certain way of playing to Ange, the difference is stark. I wouldn’t have expected Spurs to be any higher and in all honesty, I thought he might not last the se...

They finished 8th last year and lost one of the best strikers in world football.

He’s done a great job, though absolutely terrible today.

I’m resigned to not qualifying for Europe. With the squad depth of those we’re competing with, I think it would be a bit of a miracle if we got it over the line.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I think to provide context, go through the Leverkusen thread before the match. Majority were in agreement that the plan was to defend and counter where possible. I was one of them, and I’ve regularly said I don’t like watching us. The lack of options on the bench killed us last night, that’s where t...

He maybe didn't like the way Moyes was using him and being put on the bench instead of starting?
One of the ITKs posted quite a lot last season about him having a lot of baggage and not having the right mentality.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

. We should have replaced him rather than making a profit in the Summer though. This. With big loud bells on it. Fornals, Benrahma, Kehrer, Scamacca not replaced. Whether or not the manager utilised them correctly is for another day. Had we replaced these players with a couple of options the manage...
