Re: England v Montenegro

Despite being 6-0 up and playing an extremely poor side, England’s defence looks shocking. The one ball the Montenegrins got forward sliced Stones and Maguire like a hot knife through butter. They’re also getting a bit cocky and playing one touch too many.

Got my grumpy trousers on tonight!!!

Re: I hated them.....but now I don't.

Cristiano Ronaldo. When he first came to Man U, I thought what an absolute ****er this kid is. Have been a big fan for a long while now. Clearly still has a big regard for himself (backs it up though) but seems to be a dedicated family man, charity supporter, looks after his mum, has time for his f...

Re: Controversial Question?

Crisp packet colours - salt & vinegar blue , cheese & onion green , or salt & vinegar green , cheese & onion blue ? Are these crisps that don’t identify as any particular flavour? What happened to the good old days when you could tell a cheese and onion crisp from a salt and vinegar one?? PC gone m...

MB - my daughter has been a volunteer like you, spending an hour is two with an elderly person. It is totally admirable giving up time for others like this .... huge respect due to you!

Re: Social media shopping scams

I was promised 'a world class stadium for a world class team'. I received neither. .... and I bet their is nothing on their website where you can raise this as an issue either, is there. 8-) I always think that if it looks too good to be true then it’s probably best avoided as there will be some ca...

Nice photo of the Breacon Beacons , DL , very atmospheric . What are people using to upload their photos now that Tiny Pic isn't open for business any more ? Hi TOMOS, I’ve been using this; https://imgbb.com/ ...and it’s far easier to use on the new KUMB website, just do a preview to check y...

Re: Bird advice .... the feathery kind!!

Spent 20 minutes earlier this morning watching a sparrowhawk devour a pigeon in our back garden. Never seen this happen in our garden before, which is in the centre of a town and it was fascinating to watch. There were a few pigeons sat on distant roofs watching slightly nervously though.

Re: KUMB Amateur Photography Thread 2019

DL and TOMoS - thank you both for your comments, and DL you have it spot on about the bottom right hand corner, it is a bit untidy and as that is where the eye naturally comes to rest, it needs to be more definitive. Your pic of Caerphilly Castle shows that well, particulrly with the perspective on ...

Re: KUMB Amateur Photography Thread 2019

Cheers TOMoS for the feedback - always good to have another pair of eyes look at photos/pictures. I’m not really into too much tinkering with pics and cloning stuff out, principally due to not having either the skill nor software to do it!! I use the occasional filter to highlight things like colour...

Re: KUMB Amateur Photography Thread 2019

Cheers DL - it’s part of the tourist route in Copenhagen, a small harbour which has developed over the last 40 years from fishboat moorings to a load of bars, restaurants and boat tours. We were there in ideal conditions really, low winter sun and the Scandinavian light is a lot clearer than over he...

Re: Rugby Union World Cup.

Like a kid on Xmas Eve....unbelievably excited! Keep veering between thinking we’ll win by 15 to absolutely cacking myself! Me too ... I woke up at 5.30 very excited. Having a few mates over for rugby breakfast which may include alcohol, so just sorting that all out. Think it will be tighter than 1...

Re: Rugby Union World Cup.

England name an unchanged XV for the final.

It’s going to be tight, both sides have similar strengths as mentioned above. Good to see Farrell and Ford together, as I think that’ll be the key difference between the sides.
