Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
On the way home after the game I had separate conversations with four different fans about the game and all made it clear they think it is time for Moyes move on at the end of season, at the ground at both home and away games the consensus around me is to overwhelmingly agree with that view too. Oth...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
I am sure all of us including Moyes obviously want West Ham to win football matches but how we go about doing that is what divides us. When a manager goes about things in a way that is closer to how we feel football should be played it is makes games that little bit more enjoyable but ultimately I g...

Re: Carabao Cup quarter final draw (live)
Joking aside, on TV you can clearly see the numbers on the balls when they were in the drum thing so surely someone picking out balls could see that if they had the view of a monitor?

Re: West Ham Utd vs Everton: match thread
It is fair to say generally under Moyes the more possession we have the poorer our attacking play is, there is something worrying about that and that is usually a reflection of how poor a side is coached in possession play, it seems in open play we rely on individual instinctive off the cuff creativ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
If you give Moyes credit for the achievements over the last few seasons then you must make him fully accountable for performances like last night. I would like to give Moyes full credit for his achievements but reading comments that regardless to how players feel they are being treated or prepared b...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Moyes is Moyes, I am sure he will continue with the kind of tactics that he believes have served him well and when he looks at his record on paper with us I am sure he will feel vindicated in that belief. I have gone home and away for over 40 years, I know I am not alone on those travels in finding ...

Re: Away Tickets Thread - Luton now on sale for AST & 40pts+
Looks like trains are completely up the wall for Luton away next week too? Can't see any running to or from Luton that day. Surely a chance it will get called off? The strike on the 1st unlike tomorrow is the train drivers, so realistically train travel to Luton will be a no go as most operators wi...

Re: Away Tickets Thread - Luton now on sale for AST & 40pts+
I stand to be corrected by someone more knowledgeable but I believe this Saturday's strike is by RMT which is the union representing mainly non-drivers so their action still usually allows for a limited services to run whereas the strike on Friday 1st September is by ASLEF the drivers union so no tr...

Re: TV Fixtures
I don’t think there are set dates this season other than a commitment to be being no less than 6 weeks before the first game in the set of fixtures being announced, as the first weekend is the 7th they have up to the 26th August to announce them.

Re: ⚽ Brentford v West Ham Utd: match thread
Totally understandable reasons why we have put that team out but I can't see that side with little creativity getting anything other than comfortably beaten today, Brentford are very capable of piling on the goals so looks more of a damage limitation line up to me.

Re: The Relegation Thread
You think Leicester and Forest are going to win 3 out of 4 of their last? Everton will get 7 points from their 4 games too? And we will get just 1 point from our last 5 games? Even for a West Ham fan this is pretty negative. I never predicted that we would only get one point but I did that table on...

Re: The Relegation Thread
If we don’t get any more points we’re likely to spend the Leicester game looking at other results to keep us up. I still think we need either a point from Leeds of Leicester or two from elsewhere. If we don't get any more points I think we go down, I think we need to get to 37 points to be safe in ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Moyes simply has not evolved the side to compete in the current Premier League despite significant investment last summer, we play a brand of football that all but a handful of sides can easily overcome and a relegation battle was inevitable if he didn't change. This season is on him, if we were str...

Re: The Relegation Thread
Not sure I can agree with anyone who thinks 34 points is enough, I believe 36 points will be the total for the 18th placed team so we still need another 3 points and Leeds is the only game I can see us getting something from.

Re: Crystal Palace vs West Ham United: match thread
Games like this show why we are in a relegation battle this season, we have one way of playing and Palace like most of the top half of Premier League are pretty comfortable with that but some sides like Palace are have a weakness at defending set pieces which is keeping us in the games, take away th...

Re: Crystal Palace vs West Ham United: match thread
Let us not ignore the fact that Palace have already beaten us this season and our wins have either come against inferior (below us) sides to us or teams that struggle against our style of play hence we have gained positive results home and away against those sides. As the way we approach games will ...

Re: The Relegation Thread
I’m no gambler so maybe I’m just dumb but these odds seem crazy to me. We are only 5 points above the relegation zone with some hard games left to play. I agree, it is realistic looking our records this season against our next 4 opponents that we don't pick up a point from them and we would have be...

Re: Other Games April 21st-27th
The 4 teams below us need 4-6 points just to get level. They will struggle to even do that. We might not need another point , but I won’t want to leave it to chance. Yes but I think the point is two of those sides (Leeds and Leicester) could get 3 of those points against us so if we don't pick anot...
