Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

For those that watched on TV...was the ref really as bad as he came across in the stadium? Decidedly. At first Savage was diplomatic, describing the ref as "insufficient", but as the slanted/incompetent decisions persisted, was clearly called out for being "bad" and "wrong&...

Re: Trump

The jurors get questioned extensively in court by the two teams of attorneys. They base their choices on the answers, demography, gender, race, how they dress, body language etc. Technically speaking research into the individual jurors isn’t permitted l, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it happened a...

Re: Trump

Day 1 of the first criminal trial ever of a former US President. This is called the Porn Star/Hush Money case, but it is really about election interreference. Maybe a half dozen pro-Trump demonstrators flooded lower Manhattan. Trump lawyers lost a bunch of motions. Judge emphasized how Trump needs t...

Odell came with lots of baggage. Worked out well for the Rams :) Talking about deals that were ripped by the experts at the time, when the Giants traded OBJ they were mocked and ridiculed by the entire NFL mediasphere. One of the biggest *stars* of the game moved for a 1st, a 3rd and a safety the B...

Second game of the season announced:

Packers @ Eagles

Other than the Eagles losing a home game, it's an absolute joke.

Waa thinking that the share price slump could well hurt him in the Presidential race, as well as in his pocket, (he supposedly can't sell his shares within 6 months of listing without express board approval, (the board is stuffed with cronies tho..!)), Many of his staunchest supporters would have l...

With Florida becoming the latest US State to effectively ban abortions it seems that the election is coming down to these issues. Part 2 of this is out now....focussing more on suburbia and "exurbia". Honestly never heard the term "exurbia" before - a very interesting listen though! Ha! I used the word "exurban" in a post further up the page. tbh, is an often-used term in American political scien...

So this is what I’m struggling with as an newbie to the sport and need to look into. We’ve just traded one of our best players, Stefon Diggs, for a second round pick. That seems like an awful deal to me but I’m sure it’s been well thought through and they have a position and player in mind that the...

I assume the Connecticut venue will be Pratt & Whitney Stadium in East Hartford, capacity about 40k.

*Only* 1000 miles from Jacksonville and 1250 miles from Tampa.

Interesting assortment of locations. :chin:
