Re: Europa Conference League 22-23
But for a number of last kick goals/incidents last season, we would have finished in Europa again this season and possibly even a shot at CL. In other words, without playing too much differently, it was very, very possible.

So what is going on with him? I was led to believe that he had fitness tests for both Chelsea and Burnley a couple of weeks ago but now it sounds as if Moyes is saying he will be out for a while? To me it just looked like a bump against the post and a bruised back doesn’t take over a month to recov...

Anyone think we should have had a penalty (!) just before Dawson's miss corner deep into second half injury time?

Now we know it's ok to... 1) Lead with your elbow; 2) Handball in the penalty area (afterall, handball is handball); 3) Go in with your studs up at head height; 4) What is the point of VAR? 5) Souness had us relegated before a ball has even been kicked; 6) What is the point of JFH? 7) Take some cons...

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Fulham: match thread (22/2)
Apart from an off the cuff remark from Carragher, there has been everybody creaming about VAR and Chicho's handball, but no mention of the blatant penalty not given when the goalie shoved Hernandez in the back at the near post corner when Antonio nearly scored. They were given consistently during th...

Did you see the look in Kane's eyes after his John Cleese impersonation at the end of the match? Just can't bear the thought of the 50 years of the Spuds saying they won the World Cup

Predicted at work that Henderson would miss if it went to penalties!

The goalkeeper is not the problem. Only playing one isolated striker and a midfield that does not close down the opposition is the problem.Georgee Paris wrote:I think playing with no goal keeper would be better than playing with Hart. Don’t remember feeling so negative towards a player for ages.

The replay from the referees line of sight clearly showed that the defender took Lanzini out. Why should we be punished for the ref's mistake (which wasn't a mistake)?

While I'm glad we won, I spent most of yesterday's match bored out of my skull. Passing the ball sideways and backwards repeatedly so the other team can't do anything with it may be "professional" but it certainly isn't exciting. I guess I must be really shallow but I would like to see An...

I bet Plymouth Argyle put up a better fight against Liverpool than we did last night, as do most non-league teams when they play premier opposition. They are always up for the fight. We just rolled over and died.
