Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Allen, new guy and rice would make a solid midfield 3 with fornals in front Anderson and Antonio either wing supporting Haller Sounds good so something like.... Fabianski Randolph Zabaleta Diop Ogbonna Cresswell Masuaku Allen SowCheck Rice Fornals Anderson Haller Antonio This team MAY stand a chance

We'll sack him in March.

That's my prediction.
If we did... it would be one of the most comedy things in football. I genuinely wouldn't know who would look worse us or him.

Re: West Ham United v West Bromwich Albion: FAC4R Match Thread

Sanchez and Balbuena ...
That's two players who should never play for us again. Moyes squad getting smaller and smaller.

Pushing for an equaliser against a ten man championship team at home and Ogbonna is the only player showing for the ball, he was acting as the playmaker then FFS.

Re: West Ham United v West Bromwich Albion: FAC4R Match Thread

To my count that's six atrocious balls from Balbuena, none of them made under any pressure. Useless.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

"I think we're playing with quite a lot of confidence and showing that in our games. I think the two late goals on Wednesday turned an okay performance into a really bad one." On face value it's plainly ridiculous... But come on we need to stop getting annoyed with what managers say in the media......

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Okay I'll rephrase - he's just outscoring £60m worth, and he's level with Yarmolenko. How about rephrasing it as Snodgrass is outscoring a 23 year old who has played mostly bit parts in his first season in English football, a player woefully out of form and is level with a player who's been injured...

We've spent nearly £80m on attacking midfielders who are being outscored by Robert Snodgrass,
Not true.

Snodgrass 3 goals

Fornals 1
Anderson 1
Yarmolenko 3

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Also like to see Ajeti get a run of starts then we can judge him better If Moyes played Alan Irvine up front we'd get more out of Haller than we're doing now. Moment last night when it was punted up to him and he won the ball but had three players on him ...Isn't any player gonna win that scenario....

Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

There was just one piece of good news from this match. At least we won't see that useless plodding Snodgrass again this season and we may yet have seen his last in a West Ham shirt. Rejoice in that news. :scarfer: His absence I would say slightly, but not by much, improves our chances of staying up...

This obsession people have with recalling Cullen has got to stop.
But if we don't recall him how are people going to be able to suggest he's nowhere near prem quality....??

Re: West Ham United v Everton: Match Thread

There at least seems to be some effort being applied even if the style is basic. Haller really lacks that burst of speed to create his own chances, still like him though. Finally we see something from Ajeti when came on....thought it was more a head rub than a headbutt but still lucky to stay on. Wh...

Don't really get the uproar about Randolph, he's just a back up.
Most of the time back up keepers only get playing time in the cups and spend the season on the bench...
A fair few were saying the same about Roberto when he signed..me too in fact...and look how that worked out.

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

I think the real question is has David Sullivan taken us anywhere ... We are pretty much exactly where we were when they took over...but now we don't own our ground. Talking about how much money they have invested in the club doesn't mitigate their actions it just completing underlines how ineffecti...

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread

It may sound silly as they beat us, but I thought Sheffu were poor. They gave us two gilt-edged chances which we failed to take, and scored through our cock-up. The last-gasp 'equalizer' would have been well deserved. But that's football! Yup they were. That game was our season in a nutshell. A tot...

Loads of people thought he looked a decent player, not sure where these comments that he was being slagged off by loads of people come from. Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

It genuinely feels like, people nowadays, just want to sign a player for sake of signing someone, regardless of whether the player is good enough, and how they might fit into the club, as long as we sign SOMEONE, then it's all good. Yup and out of the otherside of their mouth slagging the club off ...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

How many times are we going to drag our heels when it comes to signing players. If the board are not interested in signing players why mention it at all. The going theme of constantly lying to to supporters is increasingly becoming tiresome. It’s almost as if they look at us as if we were goldfish ...
