Don't forget Hungry. Or is that just the players that need to be hungry, the manager can be well fed... I get lost

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I totally disagree... It's got nothing to do with being frightened of change... It's all about looking at the behaviours and past actions of the current chairman and being worried about the decisions that he makes. If we approached managerial recruitment like Tottenham do I'd be massively in favour ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

If Moyes leaves then I would rather the current Wolves boss than the last one who pretty much gave up the job because the going got tough. From allegedly prime relegation candidates to probable top half O’Neil has done a really good job. If we're after someone who delivers a single half of decent f...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Saw this morning that West ham Central (bastion of accurate info yeah yeah) reporting that Will Still likely to depart Riems end of this season...Would seem that even in the cheap managerial appointments pool there's a range of options. But also saw we're back in for long term Moyes target En Nesyri...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I doubt that if we were a top 8 club we'd have hired Moyes as the manager with his track record since Everton. But we were far from that when we hired him (twice) However I think had another Premier league club hired him during a relegation battle and had the past few years we've had they'd hold him...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

going to take a big rebuild to get rid of the dross from under moyes works both ways If the current squad is dross then looking at where we are in the league and Europe really shows how consistently effective the current Manager is at getting the most out of what he has at his disposal. Not somethi...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Coufal is a great example, I've been trying to find one of his earlier interviews with the club. He 100% talked about how he wants to get the ball down and play but is encouraged to just get the ball in the stands if there is pressure. I wish I could find the actual quotes so I could back this up B...

When it comes to Sullivan listening to Steidens data driven analysis I think the most influential bit of "data" is in the second part of this sentence.

Re: West Ham United vs Fulham FC - Sunday 14 April - 2pm

Mavropanos has used that mid air block of his a few times successfully, didn't work yesterday...can forgive that error but can't overlook how that mistake put him off for the rest of game...looked 2nd best throughout. Paqueta, had a terrible game, sloppy and I'll tempered... 2nd goal was all about h...

Re: Bayer Leverkusen v West Ham Utd Europa QF 1st leg match thread

People really not expecting Bowen to play...interesting.... when he came off at the weekend I thought there'd be a midweek update about how his injury was much worse than we thought...And then he'll start.

Not the first time Moyes has played this card...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Quite. My WhatsApp groups were going ape with this change, slating both Creswell and Moyes. When the match was won, they came back with - 'Why can't that idiot do it earlier '? "Bringing a defender on to improve the attacking play...It's what he does" Shirts with the new slogan available ...

Considering we've been told that Cresswell is frozen out and Moyes refuses to speak to him the whole thing was quite remarkable.

Re: Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Ham United - match thread

We scored twice, had a third harshly ruled out and if Soucek and Kudus sort their feet out we score 5.

They had two chances... one was a penalty the other offside.

Re: Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Ham United - match thread

If he isn't stood in front of Fab ...then it's an easy catch for Fab...if he's not offside it'd be due to us having a player on the line who clears the header.

Totally made up hypotheticals but more believable than whatever a 'subjective' offside is.

Re: Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Ham United - match thread

As poor as we were in the first half I don't recall them having many good chances, they didn't get in behind us once, gave Fab some easy catching practice with their distance shots and only scored from a pretty soft penalty.

Lots of nice passy passy but not a lot else.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I agree, but second season with a club always has a bit of a different edge to it. Huge risk anyone taking him before seeing how he does a second season with Wolves. Agreed. .if they finish top 10 he will also have some expectation on him which really changes things. O'Niells done well but he's had...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I’ve seen a fair few people saying that, should Moyes go, they wouldn’t mind seeing Gary O’Neil get the gig. I wonder what the reaction would be if, whilst WHU manager, he was leading 1-0 at half time against a team playing absolute dog ****, sat back in the second half and only come out to play ag...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Look absolutely pony for a while, have a think about it, then do something different, then win. The amount of times we've been on the other end of that. Moyes does seem to set us up to do our homework in the first half and then get down to it second half. It'd be nice to see us play two decent halv...

Re: Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Ham United - match thread

Id have it as a bog standard offside...shot on target...player in offside position...offside...lino get yr flag up!

This subjective line of sight nonsense is as much a problem as VAR Is. The rules are too complicated...no wonder there are so many poor decisions being made.

Re: Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Ham United - match thread

Would like to come out anti-VAR but player was stood in offside position, middle of goal directly in front of keeper...How could it not be offside?? Plenty of sketchy performances today, first half to forget. But today does show how astute Moyes can be with subs...Johnson was a real game changer and...
