Re: 2019/2020 Relegation Thread

Am I the only one who would love to see Wycombe promoted just so we can see Akinfenwa up against our "defence"? All I wanted years ago was to see my favourite-ever striker Shevshenko at the Boleyn and then when we played Chelsea he wasn't in the team! Seeing the man mountain from Wycombe will have t...

Lots of rose-coloured specs on here. As someone else said he was a horrible shite-hawk at Arsenal and I for one couldn't forget that. Sorry just my take on him.

See where you went with the Roy Keane reference Jastons! Been watching this Haaland kid since he made his debut for Dortmund and he can't stop scoring. How long before the Mancs are linked with him!!!

So we agree. Pitchside monitor and the referee gets to decide which is at it should be. Do for me!

Re: VAR - yes or no ?

Apologies if this has been said, I'm afraid I can't be arsed to go back through the threads. I watch the Bundesliga highlights every week and they have VAR well sorted. None of this Stockley Park type nonsense. The ref signals he's gonna check, goes straight over to the screen near the tunnel and ma...

Re: The Big Sale

Three scenarios: 1. The least likely IMO. Bowen on fire scores goals and we stay up. Rice goes anyway! 2. Bowen scores goals and impresses, we still go down and someone activates the 20 mill release clause. Rice still goes. 3. Bowen gets a goal or two we go down and no-one buys him. Bowen then gets ...

Re: Sunday Supplement

Don't watch the programme. Who wants to listen to a bunch of muppets including the usual airhead spouting on about our club or any other. GSB should have ignored the whole thing. Get out of our club GSB you've wrecked it and don't bother winging off a demand for an apology from me!

EVERY single team must include Mido and McCarthy. No goals then is guaranteed

Re: Anthony Scully

Watched the Under 23s a lot. Scully did get a fair share of goals but the standouts were Holland, Coventry, Kemp, Powell and Coventry. Guess what all gone too. Powell permanently to Burton, the others out on loan with Trott and a couple of others whose names escape me. Still unbeaten though so if an...

Re: Home Form

Can't see it improving now. Brighton appeared to be the easiest of the remaining fixtures because Saints, Burnley, Villa and Watford have improved while we've gone down the pan. And as for Chelsea and Wolves well what do you think! Oh dear.

Re: West Ham Utd Daily News & Gossip

Just watched the highlights of the under 23s at Sunderland yesterday. Their centre forward Hugill who scored two beauties is a dead ringer for our Jordan. Anyone know is they're related. Jordan has Sunderland connections. Incidentally despite half the team going out on loan they are still unbeaten a...

Re: Positivity Thread

My only positive is if we six of our remaining matches, starting today, we'll stay up!!! But of course we'll lose to Brighton or even draw and then I'll be positive it'll be the Championship. :(

Re: Welcome, Jarrod Bowen

According to the Tigers website Bowen has a £20 million release clause should we be relegated. So if he really tears it up and we go down I suppose someone will come up with the dosh. Or not!!!

Re: Best sicknote eleven

Yes Tarrico came in and tore a hamstring I believe. He could have sat there taking the dosh like so many others but he decided that wasn't right and as said above tore up his contract. Respect to the man.

Re: How is this for a line up? And what would yours be if all players fit?

Sorry Hammerman Antonio can't offer anything from the sickbay. This guy just can't stay fit and now it's a real worry. The sicknotes have killed us and it's the real reason we'll be playing Championship football next season unless we can conjure six wins from our remaining home games. Bowen may just...

Re: Our players are not good enough

Moyes never stood a chance with this lot. Surprised he took the job. It'll take years to get back from the Championship but at least there'll be no VAR to moan about!!! Just hope we don't have to rock up here at Kenilworth Road as we all know how that will end!

Clearly Fab wasn't ready to return so how about Joe Hart on loan? Gotta be better than the current keepers and clearly the Daves ain't gonna shell out for the likes of Butland. :(

Re: Gillingham v West Ham United: FAC3 Match Thread

Just as the injuries were clearing up, Fredericks hamstring. Bollox. I have been screaming for three at the back all season and of course Pelly wouldn't do it. Reckon we'll stick with it especially with all those difficult awaydays. So Zaba or Cressie at RWB, or even fit again Johnson. Finally the T...
