Re: Farewell fellow Kumbers

Hi Kumbers, I honestly hadn't intended to post again until Joshua Leroy born but I noticed the interest from you guys this morning, as I'm still following all the threads! Josh is a couple of weeks away and as it happens my daughter Becki on her way down from Rugby at this time after another scan. P...

Re: Farewell fellow Kumbers

Thankyou for all your moving and thoughtful comments Kumbers, "our West Ham family". My family are all moved after reading them. Adios and off into the sunset. Very definitely my final goodbye! :crest: :scarfer:

Farewell fellow Kumbers

Hi moderators if this subject is taboo please ignore. I'm 75 years old and have been visiting East London and the Boleyn from Luton for the last fifty years. So many highlights but unfortunately I've run out of time. I was diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer in May 2018 and up until January this...

Re: Issa Diop

"The Carlton Cole of centrebacks"! Love it. That couple of minutes v the filthy ones at the Boleyn, Scored an absolute worldly at one end only to pass back towards our goal a couple of minutes later straight to Defoe who duly accepted the gift to equalise. Summed CC up nicely but still a l...

Don't know about three, but we'll need at least two as Calum Wilson always scores against us!

Re: Welcome Jesse Lingard

Never listen to Talksport but I love Laura already! What a gal. O'Hara a proper clown watch him when Laura tells him Kane won't be there next season! Still won't listen to Talksport though. Back in the day fifteen years ago before I retired there was that ginger minger constantly slagging us off Pet...

He's as valuable to us as Declan. If both moved on we'd be right in it IMO.

NorwayHammer I'm 75 and I know I'll never see this again. Only the boys of 85/86 match this and they had two or three strikers!!!

OMOS don't know about you but it's snowing like hell here in Luton but who gives a fig! The mighty Hammers roll on. Team spirit the key methinks, and a certain Mr Lingard.

Re: Michail Antonio

TBH I'm amazed his hamstring lasted as long as it did. Every run he makes I expect him to pull up. Backup striker only next term I would think. Good watching him beast those Wolves defenders though! Time to get all our nippy midfielders buzzing around, interchanging, with Lingard pulling the strings...

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd vs Arsenal: match thread

I've seen three at the Boleyn when we lost 4-3 after being 3-0 up. Sixties v Stoke, Wimbledon nineties?, and West Brom 2003 when Defoe got himself sent off at 3-2 and Brian Deane scored an og. On Sunday I thought oh no not again! :fsake:

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Leeds Utd: match thread

Crikey what is the fuss about. We rarely get penalties and had there had been any doubt about this one Alan Smith would have been all over it. Lingard was clipped, he went down. End of story. You want to see real cheating then watch that muppet Salah or Grealish who have mastered it. The End.

Re: Welcome Jesse Lingard

Remember that Hammerted. Last game of the season 4-2 v Reading. Cringeworthy in every way. The Mancs will try to screw us for as much as they can and i wouldn't be surprised if they try to include Declan in any deal!

Re: Welcome Tomas Soucek

Agree with S-H. It's West Ham and they'll stick together. Welcome back Nobes! A last three-game hurrah? Hope I'm wrong of course as I make Tomas our most important player now and we'll have to get ready for the vultures in the summer.

29 points and not halfway until Tuesday. What's not to like fellow Kumbers. Burnley came to nick a point with a hopeful punt forward. They failed. Incidentally not many people slagging off Dawson at the moment is there! Over and out! :scarfer:

Re: January 2021 Transfer Window

Yes I never normally comment on potential transfer dealings but I think Diop the obvious leaver now. A shame as he has years on Ogbonna, Balbuena and Dawson. Anyway we seem to be covered with Cressie playing CB in a five. The kid coming from Denmark may be another Cardosa for I know. As far as I can...

Re: ⚽ Everton v West Ham United: match thread 01/01

Only one gripe the clowns on Facebook sites moaning cos we didn't play attractive football etc etc. What planet do they reside on. Three games in five days, Everton six days rest and still they moan. They seem to think that we should go at these teams all guns blazing and get hammered. Crikey they'd...
