Re: Pan-Great Britain And Cross Border Cups

I am totally against any such idea. English clubs have nothing to gain. Scotland does have clubs in the European trophies and if they can get past the end of August they may get draw against an English team . Better to look up and not down.

I left with 10 minutes to go at0-6. Only the second time in my life….in my seventies now. The previous time was away to Man U also at 0-6.

Re: VAR: a welcome change?

I am generally unhappy with VAR especially as it takes away the spontaneous joy of scoring. BUT it has been noticeable during FAC ties that the teams from the lower leagues get up too far more shithousery. because they think they can eat away with it. The injuries cause to Mavropanos and Bowen and t...

I have always considered Ings as completely ineffective until yesterday when Mubama came on. Worse than useless and will never make PL player. Get rid of both asap.

The last thing we need is an “ultra” section. Full of morons who think they are the only ones with Green Street in the reality section of their brain.

Re: Have you ever touched a match ball?

Just checked my facts. Bobby was playing for England and future Hammers, Brabrook and Greaves were playing for your England. Hitchens wasn’t. I was 9 and the match was in 1959.
I have got early onset something :crylol:

Re: Have you ever touched a match ball?

In the late fifties the FA used to put on England v Young England on the evening before the FA CupFinal. I remember Billy Wright was the England captain and Eddie Hopkinson in goal. The Young England team was the Under 23 team and I remember Tony Macedo in goal and Gerry Hitchens up front.. Also in ...

If I have got it right both Paqueta and Alvarez got their fifth bookings today and therefore both will be suspended for Arsenal on Wednesday Most of the bookings for both have been idiotic. Someone needs to have a word because they are not helping the team. Paqueta also needs to cut out the falling ...

Re: ✍️ Welcome Lucas Paquetá - Our Brazilian Magnifico

He seems to get booked every game. He must be odds on to see yellow. Better odds to bet against . A suspicious betting pattern is if loads of his family were lumping on no booking….although I am not sure he has got it in him.
I love watching him play but just wish he would cut out the falling over.

Re: Kevin Keegan's opinion [non WHU]

For me,women’s football and men’s football are separate sports. If I watch a women’s match I have no interest in what a male ex pro has to say. It works both ways. No problem with women presenters but female pundits have no relevant experience.

Re: Poll of funniest chants. West Ham 2nd

We were away to Peterborough and loads of Hammers had made the trip. We had the whole of one end behind the goal and half of one side. We were cruising and no noise from the Posh. One side sang to the end “ you’re only here for the West Ham “ . There were many others as we did all of the singing.

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v TSC Backa Topola: match thread

Who was the genius who decided to water the pitch at half time after the pre-match deluge . It definitely contributed to Ogbonna losing his footing for their goal . I suppose we should be used to these “typical West Ham “ cock ups.
