Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

IMO we need a an athletic box to box midfielder some one to do the fetching and carrying and I do think the Norwich lad ( Cantwell) would be a good asset, I also believe we need a nasty bast**d in mid field as well some one who's not afraid to tackle and get in peoples faces, but don't have a clue w...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Talking of a box to box midfielder I wouldn't mind if we went after Cantwell from Norwich. When ever I have watched him he's involved all over the pitch. IMVHO he would be a natural replacement for Noble, He gets up and down the pitch , not afraid to tackle and has a good range of passing. Also he's...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

As with regards to a protest, in my opinion the way to do this is on a matchday those who wish to protest leave their seat on the 20 minute mark and go to the concourses. Stay there until the start of the second half and then return. It would certainly get noticed on a televised game, and maybe rais...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

JHammer he was due to be sacked after the Spurs game, but due to Bradys excellent marketing they had sold out all the broom cupboards to corporates, who just wanted to take in the atmosphere.

Re: David Sullivan - Has he taken us as far as he can ?

Did we/ do we, expect anything different, we were given a warning from Birmingham supporters, we sat and watched as they pillaged that club, and still thousands welcome them here. Sully and co rode into the club on their custom painted Shetland ponies, with 2 purposes to increase their personal weal...

Re: January

I don flame proof suit and tin hat for this, could we not look at Jack Rodwell he's a DM or a CB, he could be a good second choice should Rice get an injury and we have to stoop to giving Sanchez a go. The Italian deal has according to the BBC fallen through, he has to be more athletic than Sanchez ...

Every time the commentator mentions Fornals I have a vision of a lemon come into my mind. Think someone's telling me we brought another one.

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Crystal Palace: Match Thread

The Fornals substitution left me perplexed, we seemingly went down to 10 men voluntarily, I would have expected to see something from Fornals by now but there doesn't seem to be any improvement in his performances Haller and Yarmolenko seem to be building an understanding along with Fredericks, it m...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

I preferred the start of this window we went quietly about our business got it done. But that didn't last long, seems now we are back to being linked to anyone and everyone.

I thought we were over this crap seems not.

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

Hammersfaniow it was 45 million Dave offered 40 and a few square yards of carpet off cuts, but they didn't like the colour. Brady offered advice on their cheese board, and Gold offered to let them suck his werthers. They declined the offer wanting cash , Sully is now in a darkened room with a cold c...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

I don't want him back, why he had it all and spunked it away in a fit of pique. Also I think if he did come back, I'm sure it would be a sweetener to letting Anderson go.

I trust Sulli as far as I can thrown his lardy arse.

Re: Renovation of Training Facilities/Rush Green

The issue with this is money all the way, How would we feel if we signed no one this summer but spent 30 mill bringing Rush Green up to the required standard, Sullivan is not going to spend on both at this moment he's half heartedly spending on players, I could not see Pellegrini staying around when...

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

I just hope we can keep hold of Rice, but I can see one of the big 6 putting in an offer. I think if it was in the region of £30 mill plus Sullivan would do the deal. the reasons for selling would be interesting to hear.

Re: The summer transfer window 2019 thread

It's ok looking at all these players. I am probably a dunce and this question may already have been answered. But what if we do exit the EU and stop the free immigration , like most clubs will we be hamstrung as these players would need work permits. Can some one throw some light on this.

When was the last time a player was booked for "Foul and abusive language" is it still in the rules I'd like to see it being used strongly, I'm no prude but can lip read some of the stuff said to refs it's shameful. Feigning injury, diving, cheating call it what you like, if an attacking sides playe...

Re: ⚽ Tottenham Hotspur V West Ham United: Match Thread

I think it's just me, but I see a fair bit of young Rio in Diop, this lad could really develop into something special. he's calm and reads a game very very well.

As for the game Submariners 0 West Ham United London England 1
