Re: Welcome, Sebastien Haller

Haller looked fantastic in the first few games, very hardworking and effective, you only have to look back right near to the start of this thread to see how many of us were proclaiming a "complete striker", who is fast and agile for such a big man. Now he looks completely shot of confidence and disi...

Re: Who Next? The odds

Two successive home defeats and suddenly Dyche is no longer flavour of the month on here. :o Funny that. Exactly what would happen here if he was managing us! Dyche and Howe are allowed to ride out slumps at Burnley and Bournemouth, respectively. As soon as either went on the inevitable bad r...

If you take a look at their website, you will see they have quite a few big, black players.
 This comment reminded me of a scene from that old Max and Paddy's sitcom.

Is this the first ever Prem match streamed on Prime? I have Prime (sorry), but never heard of them doing football before, only the tennis.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Been linked today with the french winger Romain Alessandrini ... Hes already 30 years old, played in Marseille before, now in the MSL. Winger? We already have Antonio, Anderson, Snodgrass and Yarmolenko, and the extremely in-form, exciting Holland and Diangana fighting to breakthrough. The last thi...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

When Curbs was in charge, it was the most bored I've ever been watching us (bar the great escape). He assembled a team of entirely functional, pragmatic bread-and-butter players who could do a job but nothing out the ordinary. The nearest thing we had to a flair player was Ljungberg. If we won a mat...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Eze looks good but isn't he the same position as Diangana and Holland, if we hope for those guys coming through? RE Grealish - I really wanted us to sign him in the summer until Villa won the play-offs. Always thought he'd be superb for us. A lot of people on here describing him as "bang average" an...

It's on Amazon Prime? Since when have they been showing football/Prem matches, or is this the first? I know they stream tennis matches.

Re: David Martin

I’m not sure if I care if he picks the ball up and drop kicks it in the net in the next game. He’s a West Ham fan, he’s third choice, he’s kept a clean sheet in his debut after we’ve been shipping goals for fun and fabs back soon. ****ing good on the bloke, he’ll go down in this wonderful clubs cul...

Re: David Martin

Our West ham supporting, third choice goal keeper kept a clean sheet on his Premier League debut, away to Chelsea, at the the age of 33.. and people (Puff & Cuenca) are choosing to pick the bones out of his performance. Chances are, he will makes mistakes, and he will concede goals, but seriously w...

Re: David Martin

My stream conked out 2 mins before the end of the match. When it came back on, the match had finished, Martin was in tears and players were crowding round him, hugging him. My first thoughts were, "oh ****, he's let in a howler!" In all seriousness, I think David Martin may well be my favourit...

Re: Who Next? The odds

The Stats posted previously prove you wrong. He's spent more than West Ham and yet on average they have finished below us. Not sure how being 'small' makes any difference if they have a bigger budget than us?? :? That's fair enough, I didn't actually know that. However, just looking down the list o...

Re: Who Next? The odds

If it’s Moyes then we really have reached rock bottom. Would be an appointment devoid of imagination and ambition. I’d rather take a chance on Bowyer or Parker who at least have passion for the club, just a shame it’s two seasons too early for them. I'd certainly say that's the case if we ended up ...

Re: Who Next? The odds

Ahhh the West Ham approach to manager recruitment. No similarity between Rafa and Howe But this isn't like signing a player to fit in with a manager's style of play. This is about choosing a manager who will deliver the best results/success (however "success" is measured by the dildos). In that sen...

Re: Who Next? The odds

Exactly, never got the media hype, surrounding Howe, and this just proves that he bang average. But if your face fits, what do stats and facts matter, eh? Now.. who's going to break it to hammerman11? He's certainly not bang average in the context of what he's achieved at Bournemouth. He gets a rel...
