Re: Jock FA & Heading The Ball

It’s an interesting subject. I think banning it for kids is a no-brainer. The debate about banning it in a wider context and even at professional level is a tough one for me. I’ve seen the stuff Jeff Astle’S family day and they are adamant his life was shortened and made worse by heading in the ball...

If Cole does return he gets the honour of moving above Randolph and tied with Dicks for the prestigious most times employed by West Ham gong.

Is anyone above 3?

Re: 2019/2020 Relegation Thread

so where are the wins coming from ? everton brighton Southampton all at home ? I can only see two draws and defeat to everton. 2pts If we can’t take more than two points from those three fixtures then we will definitely go down and quite rightly so. Personally I reckon we’ll take at least six from ...

Re: VAR - yes or no ?

What if we only use feet and someone scores with a diving header? Offside is from when the ball is kicked so presumably the player isn’t already diving when the cross is kicked or that would be some impressive hang time. If he just happens to be leaning forward with his feet onside and then dives a...

We’re 3/1 to go down. If people are really that certain it’s going to happen then there’s the opportunity to make a pretty penny.

As we now adopt years 1-11 in schools nowadays, why is it called "Sixth Form" when you stay on. Why not twelfth or thirteenth form?
I think a lot of places do call it year 12 and year 13

Shenfield: 1 km as the crow flies. Which you'd also have to, to get there.
Brentwood/Harold Wood a bit further but all on Crossrail when it eventually arrives.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions

Funnily enough i was looking at the area around the Brentwood Centre and was wondering if that would make a good spot for a new football stadium. Decent transport links - near a fair chunk of our support. Would still be a new stadium in an unfamiliar area but could be purpose built. Where’s the nea...

Re: Little things in life that make you smile

First trip to the gym Monday night for about three weeks. Walked in and looked around and it was busy (obviously). Figured there would be a lot of waiting around waiting for equipment, hunting for free weights that hadn't been put back, queues at the water fountain. None of it. Everything I wanted w...
