Re: Where will we finish?

Absolutely no chance we finish outside the top ten. I fancy us for at least eighth

Re: West Ham United v Brentford : match thread

Really enjoyable half.

Exploded out the blocks and plenty of sharp, slick play in the final third. Their goal the only blot on the copybook.

More in the second half please

The players are not playing for him anymore. When you've lost the changing room you're done.
I’ve heard that Moyes has lost the changing room so many times in his reign.

Let’s be honest, it’s nonsense

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Just out of interest, a question for the Moyes backers (FWIW I’m on the fence on whether he should go or not). What would it take for you to feel it’s time to sack him? Dropping down the table a bit more? Going out of Europe? Current form continuing another month or two? Or has he earned undying lo...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Top 4, Top 6, Top 8, Top 9, Top half!!! Do we stop saying how good we are when we get to 15th? Last season we finished 14th and lost 20 league games. We also won our first trophy in 43 years We’re still in Europe. In my lifetime we’ve rarely been in Europe. For much of my youth Europe seemed far ou...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

In my near 20 years on this site I’ve read countless times words to the effect of “I’d rather we lose 3-0 and give it a go……” Never subscribed to the theory myself. However, I actually enjoyed much of that game besides the goals and result. I think you’ll struggle to name many better West Ham perfor...

I think we’ve played really well.

Their goal was really well taken but we’ve given it a lot from an attacking point of view. We’ve defo got a goal in us

That 94th minute goal in a tie we were already winning 2-1.

Re: Sheffield Utd v West Ham Utd - Match Thread

Not entirely convinced we would have held on for the win without the bad de isions. All terrible decisions aside, we wernt good enough to beat the worst team in the league, nowhere near good enough in fact. Over the awful refereeing that is what concerns me the most about today. All the poor offici...

Re: Sheffield Utd v West Ham Utd - Match Thread

That wasn’t a fair result

We didn’t play well but we defended strongly and we were fouled twice in their penalty area.

Ref and VAR had a stinker. We’re still getting mugged off by poor officiating in the VAR era. What’s the point

Re: ✍ Welcome Danny Ings

Two great turns contributed to the two goals today. Fair play to the bloke.

Was pounding the ground when he had those two shots later on but they were on target and blocked by defenders. All you can do.

Hope he gets a goal and finds some form

So many six month wonders or mediocre triers get hero or cult hero status at West Ham

Soucek is a true modern great. Delivered season after season and helped deliver proper success to our club.

My second ever game was against Barnsley on 1 Jan 1990. We won 4-2. I believe Kevin Keen scored with a cross which went in off the post. Not too dissimilar to Konch’s in the cup final

:crossed: There are claret and blue ribbons on a European trophy

We’re 9th in the league above Chelsea and a point from Man Utd.

We made the QF of the league cup

We won our Europa League group

People want the manager sacked
