Re: Other Games 14/1-17/1

Barnes had a golden opportunity to tee up Daka (I think) in the 91st but was greedy.

I'm gutted. Imagine how Leicester fans feel.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Agree, added to this always sort of feel Antonio is at his best a counter attacking player. Direct and forces a critical moment where he has either done his defender or not. We are in or loose the ball. If we are to evolve we need someone more patient and clinical. Deliberate I suppose. I doubt we ...

Re: ⚽ Manchester Utd vs West Ham Utd: match thread

I can see a return to a 3-4-3 for this one after conceding 3 goals to Leeds. Fabianksi Dawson - Zouma - Cresswell Coufal - Soucek - Rice - Masuaku/Fornals Bowen - Antonio - Lanzini/Fornals Man Utd are genuinely rubbish currently, but due to the quality of their players, obviously have goals in them....

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Norwich City: rescheduled match thread

From BBC Sport:

‘Jarrod Bowen has been directly involved in 16 goals in all competitions this season (8 goals, 8 assists), which is the most by any English player at a Premier League club’

England call up surely imminent.

Was fantastic tonight.

I’m currently in Malaga. Back home Monday. Can anyone confirm whether it’s just one cheaper LFT to order and that’s all I need to satisfy?
Yes, this was the case when I went end of November.

The Reddit thread for UK Travel is way more helpful than the Government site.

Re: Coronavirus

I’m with Sendo. Have you seen Australia’s quarantine camps? Sure, they can deport Djovakic. But the fact people think this is okay means they’ll do it to more and more people. What happens when you haven’t had your 7th booster and you can’t get in? Also, is it any coincidence it takes a Serb to stan...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Like the thought, but the problem is what if Oggie doesn’t get back to best form, or worse doesn’t get back? Appreciate you have tagged Oggie with a flag, but can we afford not to get a long term CB? 👍 I think with Cresswell’s ability to play LCB in a three (and actually that suits him more as he g...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Signing Digne and Lingard would mean our best 11 would be…

Fabianksi

Coufal, Zouma, Ogbonna (I know), Digne

Rice, Soucek

Bowen, Lingard, Fornals

Antonio

That is a top 6 team.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

If Cresswell and Zouma are back in February, I don't see much point in paying inflated January fees for players that might not be Moyes' first choice. He's going to wait and see until after the Leeds game in the league before making any moves on the defence, imo. Cabral would be great from what I ca...

Hearing DEPO is an exciting AltCoin. It's £0.10 currently, and they have a few launches lined up for 2022. I've just bought in.

Re: Crystal Palace vs West Ham: match thread

Gallagher didn't play in their last game, no idea why, but hopefully he is out for this one too. Same team that beat Watford with Rice in for Noble. Going to be a tough one, score draw I reckon. It's frustrating to see Kouyate and Tomkins playing for Palace, because even though I understand at the t...

Great thread, Leon :newthumb:

Apparently, Bowen is second in the league for assists now.
Think he’s third behind Salah and TAA.

Although his two penalty wins don’t count, which I think is unfair.

Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham Utd: match thread

Decent result. Bowen is getting better and better, and hasn't missed a sitter in a while. I'm wondering if the solution to the Soucek / Rice is debate is us getting a deep lying playmaker to join them. Like a Tielemans type to allow Soucek and Rice to both be box to box. Because we aren't getting th...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Lloyd Kelly would be the definition of a smart signing if Moyes thinks he can make the step up.

Young, British, versatile, leader who has top flight experience.

Go get him.

Re: ⚽ Tottenham v West Ham Utd: match thread

We probably need to go 4-2-3-1 to get a result here.

Ball isn't sticking up front. I'd hook Masuaku or Ashby for Fornals.

We're still in it, Bergwijn has been great for them and that's about it.

Spurs have gone strong. Kane & Moura start, Son on the bench.

No idea how this one's gonna go!

Having worked in hospitality before, my own small business going under this year, I felt passionate about exercising ...
