Re: The Non Racist Crap Joke Thread

I built a scale model of a Boeing 747 out of sheets of A4 paper and envelopes. I held it all together with paper clips and decorated it with postage stamps.

By the time I finished, I couldn't afford the fuel to fly it; so I left it stationary.

Re: Little things that irritate you

Getting a good stream of the game and then getting a phone call from the old dear who has locked her self out of her car at a large supermarket. So I have to go to her place, pick up the keys and then driver to the supermarket then drive home through terrible traffic only to find, on my return home...

Re: Little things that irritate you

At this exact moment in time, the football West Ham United are playing. What the f**k is going on? Also, While I'm here and "bumping" Samba's mobile tariff irritation, to be honest mate, I'm not sure if there's a perfect one out there. Which magazine did a test and all the big players came out very ...

That had the look and feel of a bunch of lads that had never met or played together before the first whistle.

Just so disappointing and annoying.

Re: Little things that irritate you

As a Virgin Mobile payg user, todays text message from them telling me that my 'mobile plan' is changing. From 18/11, sending one text a day will cost me £2. One text. Making a one minute phone call per day, will cost me the same, £2. They simply don't want to have any payg customers anymore. That'...

Only saw the last 30 minutes or so (Eggs Jnr. 2 and his computing skills), but it seemed to me we lost a really messy game there. No real cohesion from either side.

Re: If there was no West Ham ?

If West Ham never ever existed, it would most probably been one of Crystal Palace, Wimbledon or Sutton United.

If West Ham ceased to exist tomorrow and they didn't become a "United of West Ham" type club, I think I would just pop down to one of the aforementioned clubs just for s**ts and giggles.

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Manchester United: Match Thread

I didn't think he did really, Anderson had a bit of a wander for much of the game, both wings, middle, popped up with a couple of decent tackles too. He wasn't having his best day at the office though, struggled to get his passes where he wanted them, lots of good ideas not quite backed up. He can ...

Re: Brian Clough: 15 years on (non WHU)

Oddly it's that particular talent that leaves me unconvinced as to hid England credentials. It's a different game altogether at international level where you need to pick the top players rather than buying in players of lesser standing who will nevertheless be immersed in your management style. Val...

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Manchester United: Match Thread

Listened to the game on BBC 5Live on the way to Weston-super-Mare. To me it sounds like we may have turned a corner; not playing our best but coming away with the spoils. Something the "big teams" have been good at for years. Glad that Rashford went off, if only for the fact it made his personal fan...

Re: ⚽ Aston Villa v West Ham United: Match Thread

Eggs Jnr.1 and 2's mum's family are Villa supporting Brummies. Back in the day, I'd go home and away with the home supporter getting the tickets. Needless to say when away I had to sit on my hands. I do remember one game in the mid/late nineties being in the away end and we were on the end of a bit ...

I accept this only if they spend a good 20 minutes showing how we carved Norwich to pieces and should have scored 5
I'm with you Graza, but sadly I think we've got two hopes; and Bob Hope is dead.

Looking forward to the Sky Monday night football team talking about the ‘crisis’ at Man City for 59 minutes and then a minute of match build up :asleep:
I make you pretty much spot on Macca, although I think you may be exaggerating a bit; maybe 58 minutes 30 seconds!

We've only got to win 12-0 to go second.
I'd be happy with a hard fought 1-0. Then win the next and the next (etc, etc) and be comfortably second by Christmas.

Slowly, slowly and all that.

Re: Mike Dean

I do find him very annoying, but he's not the only one.

Says a lot about the standard and view of our officials when we didn't have one single representative at the last World Cup.
