I think it was a legal stipulation that we had to be free of 'exterior' debt before we moved in. So the Dave's, big-hearted West Ham fans that they are, took it upon themselves to being it in-house .. at a very favourable interest rate.
Fair enough.

We're so lucky they "saved" us. :thdn:

They want all of their loans repaid by the magic 2023 date.
Wasn't this one of the many promises made; Debt free by the time we moved to The Olympic Stadium?

This ^^^ makes no sense to me. In the last decade they haven't managed to achieve 10 things. You want them to do one thing a day for the next 40 days? Not going to happen.
But in the last ten years, they haven't been up against this kind of upsurge of fan distain.

Re: Masters Snooker Final

Well done to Stuart Bingham for winning it. Would of been mad though had Carter managed it, as he was only there because Ronnie pulled out. The one I would liked to have seen in the final was the lad Gilbert. I thought he played some terrific snooker all week, but came up short.

Yes they are. One of Murdoch's companies.
I never listen to it anyway (apart from the 10 minutes a couple of hours ago), but now I know that c**t has got his grubby fingers in it; no thanks.

Re: Which is hardest

I've played all three, but sadly haven't hit any of them. I'd say definitely the 147. Darts - The board and the oche never move so it really is a case of your aim over a set length. 10 Pin bowling - Pretty much as darts. Pins set in the same place over a set length with the bonus of being guided by ...

Re: Taxi for Karren ? Is one due ?

Not a scapegoat. She's the one that refuses to talk with supporters and alienated us. She's what's wrong with our club. The tide has now turned when C&H say things like: ClaretandHugh says: Karren Brady believes she knows about the media and how to handle it but her responses to Ms Maddings in this...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Regarding the press: Without dumping too much onto you UtJ, with your experience and, how can I say, rubbing shoulders with the press over the years, is there any way you can get a feel of what said press think with all the goings on? Maybe with the possibly with pointing them to the supporters grou...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

The trouble is, it's all going to plan, their rotten plan. 20,000 have stopped going, yet it was sold out on Saturday! 20,000 staunch supporters, replaced by "shall we do a bit of shopping at Westfield and take in a game at the West Ham today", happy clappy, merchandise buying, pop corn eating, unc...
