Re: The Olympic Stadium [new poll]
For all yous who keep going on about needing binoculars to see, have you watched a game in an olympic stadium. I have and from behind the goal and i could see everything clearly and also the last ground in London to host an Olympics was Wembley, the scene of our last success. I remember all them vis...

Re: West Ham V Birmingham City - Carling Cup Semi Final ........
Looks like we were Cole's boyhood club there...
Shame his career seems to have gone down hill over the last couple of years. I wonder if King Kenny will get him going again.

Re: The Olympic Stadium
if Sp*rs stay at WHL then they will still have a bigger stadium, coupled with possibly a more succesful team, therefore have the same possibility of attracting new fans there than they do in stratford. its a succesful team that wins new fans, as chelsea have proved Not from our core support area of...

Re: The Olympic Stadium
not missing it , just think that the Spuds moving 5 miles nearer to us does not mean that west ham will suffer, west london could have 3 football clubs in the prem next season, all backed by wealthy foreigners and none with a massive stadium, so perhaps we dont need a large stadium to be attractive...

Re: The Olympic Stadium
you don't half come out with some far fetched stuff we cannot afford to do anything but take the OS in its current form, its why the owners want it, as they can cheaply move there and get cash in from the boleyn ground to clear debts, one day they might invest some of the clubs money doing the OS u...

Re: The Olympic Stadium
Everyone Sp*rs that I know are still convinced this is all just a bluff to sort their own ground out. Just more pressure on Harringay. Strange how the once vocal Sullivan and Gold have totally disappeared off the radar. Part of me suspects they are talking with Levy much more than we can possibly i...

Re: The Olympic Stadium
Wouldn't be at all surprised G&S end up getting blinsided by Levy right at the death. I hope I'm wrong as I'm very part of the pro-brigade, but I've got a nasty feeling Sp*rs will get it. Nothing to back that up, of course.....just a feeling. And then listen to the current 'anti brigade' moan i...

Re: The Olympic Stadium
Yet all closer to the pitch than if having to watch football at an Athletics stadium. The West Upper is Band 1, where the Execs sit, and where the Journos sit, so I'd say that is a very good view, better than anything at the OS. Is that with or without the crap view that was mentioned! Where was ba...

Re: The Olympic Stadium
I made a valid post earlier about scaremongering, which you ignored....choosing the clearly lighthearted one. I am happy to debate the OS move with anyone and justify my points. However if you just want an arguement for the sake of an arguement, then you may have more luck suggesting to Romford tha...

Re: The Olympic Stadium
What the one about Thurrock? Do you really think it was serious? I did say afterwards that it was lighthearted exhageration to highlight how silly the debate can be. Yes saw that. But why not keep to the facts... You mentioned scaremongering and then plucked a comment that no one had even come near...
