Re: 🚗 🚌 🚅 ✈ The Away Game & Match Day Logistics Thread

What's the general consensus with those plotting up somewhere nearby to watch? I've booked accommodation in Cologne, but was wondering if it's best to stay in town, head up nearer the ground or even to head up to Dusseldorf?

Re: West Ham Utd vs Everton: match thread

Aside from the 1st half sweeping slide tackle, Alvarez offered nothing else this afternoon. I'm just not sure on him.

Re: ⚽ Tottenham Hotspur V West Ham United: Match Thread

Noble has been great. Diop looks so calm and composed in defence alongside Balbuena.

Was just offside - Keep it up Arnie, confidence is looking great at the moment. Great cross by King Arthur

Re: Manchester City vs West Ham Utd : match thread

First 20 mins of this game are absolutely vital - If City don't score and start dominating within the first twenty they'll get frustrated and start thinking it's not their day. Players like Sterling who rely on confidence

Obviously the guy looked both in pain and worried but am I the only one slightly comforted by the fact that Ayew managed to walk off?

Whichever side of the fence it falls, I'm looking forwards to the Bacca chase ending. It has been very tiring.

Buzzing if he does sign though!

Re: England vs Wales

Which part of Wales do you live in , where did you watch the match and how did you behave afterwards ? Still sorry to hear that - I think Football can sometimes bring out the worst in a lot of people. Watched it with my English pal in Cardiff but some of my West Wales acquaintances weren't very hap...

Re: England vs Wales

Being an Englishman living in Wales, the comments I've received after this game have been awful. Been told to "go back to my country" a few times. Wouldn't be acceptable if that was any other minority.

Re: A £20 million plus striker: The summer transfer thread

I can't see that being true, but if it is then let him go. Nobody is bigger than the club and if he thinks he will get more playing time at arsenal, chelsea or man city, he only has to look at Scott Sinclair and Jack Rodwell to see how far their potential got them. Judging on his most recent Instag...

Re: A £20 million plus striker: The summer transfer thread

You don't spend £25mil on Ritchie and Wilson. You can get those same players from the championship for less than that. You don't go anywhere near Wilson till you're sure he's the same player as before the horrendous, pace affecting injury. You also wait to see if he's not a one season wonder. Bare ...

Re: A £20 million plus striker: The summer transfer thread

Not a dig directly at you Mate but I wonder what people would have posted online about Mcavennie and Ward had the internet been around in 1986? With the team we've got, I reckon we're only 2-3 astute signings away from being a decent side that can get into Europe consistently. They don't need to be...
