Re: West Ham United vs Fulham FC - Sunday 14 April - 2pm

I was quite happy with the first half apart from sloppy passing and frailty from the back. 2nd half Fulham made a few tactical changes and we lost the plot with no plan B apart. Sluggish at the back, No pace in the middle, No true wingers and no replacement striker on the bench. This is 4 years of a...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

There were two different philosophies on display tonight. Alonso another disciple of Pep with his possession at all costs football and Moyes who isn’t too worried about keeping the ball. I’m no fan of Moyes but I have to admit the players were well drilled tonight to defend and almost got the job d...

Re: Bayer Leverkusen v West Ham Utd Europa QF 1st leg match thread

Looking at that bench incensed me. How we can be expected to compete at this level of football without the basic tools to change a game is beyond me. Sullivan’s ownership in a nutshell. Thought we played as well as we could have done given the circumstances, proud to be a West Ham fan. How far we’v...

Re: Bayer Leverkusen v West Ham Utd Europa QF 1st leg match thread

They are a good side no doubt and have beaten better sides than us but I doubt any other team has had a 32 vs 1 shot differential against them. That is the type of stats a non league team gets vs a prmeier league team. Not a team 7th in the Premier league with players worth 20m+ ImHO they are not b...

If we don't lose tonight, I'll eat my hat but we may not have enough players left if bookings keep coming.
I bet they go for a booking for Paqueta now.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

The main issue was the first half and another negative start. We didn't start until we went 1 down. The changes needed to be made and without fornals and Benrahama gone we don't have much to choose from attacking wise. I think we got a lucky win and after 4 years our squad has no depth mainly down t...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Dyche is on a bad run of form. I can see Everton paying him off and getting Moyes in the summer. Give him five years to get them back up to mid table in their new stadium. If we finish 8th -10th that’s about our realistic standing anyway, any decent appointment should be able to match that but our ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I am surprised the lengths some fans go to change a narrative and don't just put hands up and say today was mostly on Moyes. Deluded.

Re: Newcastle Utd v West Ham Utd - Match Thread

Down to Moyes. We were doing well 3-1 up and he decides, yet again, to take of an attacker, bring on a defender and soit back, against a team that has had loads of chances. Result - - we ship loads of goals. Moyes at his best. TBF the ref/VAR didn't help but this is defeat is layed firmly on Moyes....

Re: Newcastle Utd v West Ham Utd - Match Thread

This is on Moyes and not VAR.
And you wonder why fans don't like his constant sitting back.
Has got it more wrong than right.

Re: Newcastle Utd v West Ham Utd - Match Thread

And this is why even when it's been open Moyes frustrates fans and tries to sit back and hold on.
