They've done it before with Bilic.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

Eddie Howe arguably wouldn't improve our defensive weaknesses either. However at Bournemouth he: - Signs young, hungry English players; - Added physical presence and bite in midfield (Lerma & Billing); - Built a side that is always capable of scoring goals in all sorts of ways and no matter how bad ...

No wonder Pelle wants out.
I guess he won't walk though as he would preferred to be paid off.

Re: A future West Ham manager in the waiting

All this talk of seeing players stepping into management in the past few years, such as: Lampard, Bowyer, Parker, Gerrard it had me thinking, do we 'potentially' have a future manager in the making already at our club? Or should I say 'in our squad'? The man I am talking about if you haven't worked ...

Are we signing the right calibre of players?

I have seen of course a lot of our fans mentioning the lack of fight and leadership in our squad. Which has led me to starting this thread questioning overall are we sign players in the first place that have the right attitude and are committed to the club? Not to mention keeping the right players? ...

Re: Welcome, Sebastien Haller

What has happened to him? Since the Bournemouth game he has become very very lazy. I personally don't buy into the argument some of our supporters have made about him having no support and not being able to play up front on his own. If that was the case why did he look fantastic up until that game a...

Re: A future West Ham manager in the waiting

I am certainly warming to the idea of having the Cowleys as our new Managers once Pellers' time is up. Very impressed from what I have heard and seen. Sadly: 1) I can't see our owners looking at them, unless we are relegated, as they'll look for a 'name'; 2) Our owners only ever hire managers...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

@JacobSteinberg

Manuel Pellegrini still has West Ham's support after Saturday's defeat to Newcastle. No danger of him being sacked at the moment. There are concerns over tactics and signings, though #whufc

And so the undermining begins.....

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

We were much improved in the second half at the weekend, maybe he uses that to build going forward? Yes. When the game was already over and Newcastle decided to sit back. Would Balbuena have scored that soft first goal if the game was still 0-0? If Pellers starts the team that played in the 2nd hal...

Re: Pablo Zabaleta: 1 year extension signed

He clearly can't be as much of a good character and leader behind the scenes as much as well all assume, going by the dreadful and inconsistent performances we have seen from the team during his time at the club. He should never of been given a new contract. Fans and the club made the same mistake w...

To think a high majority of our fans think we should leave him at West Brom for the season. :? He would comfortably walk into our starting 11 at the moment.

Re: Is our squad better this season?

To put this pathetic excuse of Hernandez earned us points off the bench argument to bed, he only debatably did it TWICE last season. 1) West Ham 4-2 Burnley - which we may have won anyway as if you take his goal away it's still a 3-2 win; 2) West Ham 4-3 Huddersfield - unquestionably he earned us th...

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager

I only look at where we have been finishing since moving to one of the biggest stadiums in the League. You know, the one that was suppose to take us to the next level. And after 3 full seasons, the best we have done is - 10th. And this season, our 4th there, we don't look likely to do any better tha...

Re: Is our squad better this season?

For once I think the manager is more at fault than the owners. Pellegrini's signings, substitutions and 1 way of playing are our downfall this season. We have no backup, no second striker to bring on and change a game, no different options to change the style of our play. The owners backed him last...

Re: Is our squad better this season?

Nope Ive said so many times before it is pretty much the same team that scrapped into 10th by the skin of their teeth. So we were never going to be in the race for a European place. The only differences is: - We have slightly more height thanks to the Haller signing; - Fornals was brought in to give...

Re: Game Management and the Second Half

In the last five games , we've lost three and drawn two....yet we've only been behind once at half time in those games. Why are we losing our way? A combination of our manager being bad at keeping the players motivated and our players having an appalling attitude. For the latter you only have to lo...

Re: Weekend Fixtures 25-27th October

That's a big win for Brighton today, conceding still but getting the three points, as they've been getting plaudits but not really results. That's also the same bang average Everton they managed to beat, who we put zero effort against and they should've thrashed us last Saturday. Says a lot about u...
