Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I don't see what we achieve by loaning Reid out. As when he gets injured again not even the US clubs will touch him and we'll be stuck with Reid and his ridicously high wages for another season. Why not just sell him?

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

If he turns out to be a good player it'll be Sully's signing. If he's :thdn: it'll be a Moyes signing.

Re: A future West Ham manager in the waiting

Very intriguing interview from a man I'd like to see near the top of the list if Moyes goes: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/jan/25/scott-parker-fulham-old-school-values-social-media-fa-cup Pending on Fulham not getting promoted of course and not switching Leagues with us. I found the part...

Re: Fabianski, Anderson, Rice, Antonio...

The players I expect to stay should we go down are: - Darren Randolph; - David Martin; - Aaron Cresswell; - Robert Snodgrass; - Mark Noble; - Ryan Fredericks; - Arthur Masuaku; - Jordan Hugill. Possibly: - Issa Diop (unlikely IMO); - Angelo Ogbonna (If he's happy to stay); - Michail Antonio (thanks ...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

Is Moyes the kind of manager to demand new signings? He was happy to sit 2-3 summer windows at Everton not making any signings didn't he, if I am not mistaken? I do get the impression he is one those managers he rightfully, or wrongfully likes to equally work with and try to improve players he alrea...

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

I imagine unless he walks out he will stay too even if we are relegated as the board won't hire a young progressive manager even in the Championship. They would target the likes of Hughton. He must of been mad to take this job as he finally restored his reputation a little bit by keeping us up fairl...

Re: Welcome (again), Darren Randolph

What we also need to remember is he may not just be a back-up Keeper. As with Fabianski getting older and picking up injury after injury, in effect Randolph is our number 1 Keeper. With a very good chance of Fabianski still picking up injuries the question we need to ask ourselves is: Are we comfort...

Re: Welcome (again), Darren Randolph

He boosts the amount of homegrown players we have in the squad. That's about the only positive I can think of. Better than Roberto. But then that's not really saying much. I remember him being so bad towards the end of his time we had to recall Adrian back into the starting 11. He turned into just a...

Re: Deloitte money league, Where are we ranked?

If Arsenal have a 60,000 seat stadium & Spurs have a 60,000 seat stadium why are West Ham so far behind when they also have a 60,000 seat stadium? The argument of once upon a time that the size of the stadium was holding us back is obviously nonsense. With the right ownership, West Ham would achiev...

Posted this in the transfer thread....

David Sullivan in 2017:

Anyone get that feeling the board aren’t that bothered if we go down yet? David Sullivan in 2017: ''If we go down, we’ll come straight back up. We always come straight back up. Re: 2019/2020 Relegation Thread

I think we are goners you know. I am honestly trying to be as optimistic as I can be. But looking at or remaining fixtures I am really struggling to work out where the 6-7 wins are coming from. Not to mention: - Too many key injuries; - poor squad depth; - attacking players that don't create and esp...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Joe Allen stinks of a Sully special. Especially as we have been linked to him for quite a few windows now. Even under Pellers. You only have to look at the type of signings Moyes made at Everton. He would target either young, hungry players from the Championship, or players from the top clubs, mainl...

The one positive from this is we could be forced to sign a decent right back in jan
No chance. They'll just lazy assume Zabaleta will do the job for the rest of the season.

Disgraceful miss from Haller. Should do no worse than get that on target. But IMO it was more easier to score than miss.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

I personally can't see there being any truth in there being a clause in Moyes contract this coming summer. I wouldn't expect him to agree to that. And rightfully so the way the owners treated him last time. But as I mentioned before even if they wanted to get rid of him there would only be a year le...
