Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

The same weaknesses I mentioned on here came home to roost today. - Centre halves outside of Zouma and Ogbonna are not good enough. And yet are playing every week. Albeit no fault of their own! - Leftback area defensively weak again. - Back up for Rice &/or Soucek non-existent. - No one to bring...

I’d love to know why Moyes keeps shoving him on the left when more often than not he plays centrally for his previous club and country.

Re: Who Will Beat Us To Top 4?

Of the 11 home Premier League games we’ve had so far we have only won 5. https://www.premierleague.com/clubs/25/West-Ham-United/results We’ve picked up some really impressive wins in those 5. But we’ve dropped a lot of points. The ones to Brentford, Southampton and Leeds were there really bad ones. ...

He had an assist today did he not? He did his job. Which is more that can be said for the players down the other end of the field.

Re: Leeds in the league or the FA cup

That's fine, we all want to win the Europa and the Fa Cup. So let's target both But this thread was not about the Europa League. Plus saying the FA Cup is worthless is simply not true. It relates to my answer, which is an answer to the question of the thread. We’ve won the FA Cup 3 times in our his...

Re: ✍ Alex Král

I’d like to be the first to point out that a purchase obligation that triggers after only five appearances [some of which may be 1-2 minutes in length] is pretty much the dumbest business decision that has ever been made. There is absolutely no way that we have agreed to that. He is not being left ...

Who gives a toss about Budget. Could not care less.

Winning the FA Cup is something that will stay with you as a fan for rest of your life and as part of the club's history forever.
My eyes are on the Europa League.

Re: Leeds in the league or the FA cup

Any Prem team can win the FA Cup. Just ask Wigan and Portsmouth fans. What a bizarre post. 4th wins you sweet fanny Adams. The FA Cup is worthless nowadays. 4th = more money which gives us a bigger budget to strengthen the squad and give us more of an opportunity to compete for more silverware. The...

Re: Leeds in the league or the FA cup

League all day long. We won’t win the FA Cup anyway.

My number 1 priority is to win the Europa League, with finishing 4th a close 2nd. FA Cup is last on my list.

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Leeds Utd: match thread

I said before the game on here Cresswell needed protection up against Raphinha today. And low and behold look what happened. Every player with defensive responsibilities had a stinker today. And I mean every player. Even you, Mr. Rice. It’s no good constantly bombing forward and leaving poor Lanzini...

I love Fab but I think he should have done a lot better on the third one
He hesitated coming off his line when usually he would have been out to the feet of Harrison much quicker
Yep. His distribution was poor too.

The irony.
My post was about Fabianski. You said he “stepped up a level”. That comment certainly hasn’t aged well. Not that it hadn’t even before today’s game.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

It depends on the available resources. If we can't have everything, we will need to prioritise. We score goals. Loads of them. Champions League standard amounts. Yet we cannot defend and concede far too many. We are bottom half standard at keeping them out It would be nice if we had an attacker wit...

Looks like we’ve signed another 1 season wonder right back.

I pray to God he wasn’t 1 of the players we stupidly gave a new contract to.
