Vastly over-rated.

Meslier is easily better than him.
Hopefully not today!

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

I suspect Lanzini will stay until at least his contract is up. I think he’s happy here and Moyes has always liked him. He’s playing every week and is probably playing his best football since Moyes’ last spell here. He’s been here for so long now it’s easy to forget how young he still is. 28 tends to...

We're still being 'linked' with Schick. That would really show ambition if we shelled out 30m+, ain't going to happen though.
No thanks.

Re: Next managerial casualty

Quite agree, though will bigger clubs than Brighton allow someone like Potter the time to grow a decent side? Personally I don’t think so, no. If I was Potter I’d stay at Brighton over joining Everton. Which just about sums up what a mess Everton are. They must be kicking themselves going for Ancel...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Same here. When watching the Quest EFL highlights usually he strikes me as being very composed with good distribution qualities. Last night though he looked very poor in the air. To be fair being good in the air never strikes me as being one of his strengths anyway. I was just as alarmed at his pos...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Just watched highlights of the Luton vs Bournemouth game. I won’t judge a player purely on just 1 game. But Christ, if Lloyd Kelly defends that badly every week I wouldn’t touch him with a bargepole! And that was against a bang average Championship side.

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Leeds Utd: match thread

Really need to win this today if possible. Not just to keep up with the fight for top 4, but because Wolves are slowly starting to breathe down our necks. Not only that, it’ll set us up nicely with the big one next weekend. Hopefully we’re more ruthless in front of goal today than we were against th...

Re: Next managerial casualty

I knew Benitez would be gone by the end January. They should never of hired him in the first place. Why hire a manager the fans don’t like in the first place? It was always going to get toxic the moment they went on any bad run. I can definitely see them going for Rooney until at least the end of th...

So, that’s all our competitors for a top 7 place; let alone for 4th place now having at least 1 game in hand.

They really are scared of us, aren’t they?

Lingard's brace against Villa last season came from two fairly tame shots that should've been easily saved, and he made a right mess of both.
It’s debatable whether he could’ve done better for our first 2 goals this season too.

Anthony Edlanta starting for Man Utd over Lingard tonight.

Knock it on the head, Jllingz. They’re mugging you off. Come back.
And Jadon Sancho. What a pointless signing that was!

Man Utd 1 up already! Another mistake by the most over hyped goalkeeper in the League off of a Fernandes shot.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

If I was Newman and Robson I’d be straight on the phone to the agents of the highly rated youngsters at all the other big club’s academies. Those clubs have shown what they think of those players by preferring to have their matches postponed then giving some of them a chance at least on the bench. M...

Re: Is now a good time for the season to be suspended?

What does it say about those club’s academies that they would rather postpone the games then give some of their promising young players a chance?

Meanwhile instead of our manager complaining he stuck 4 academy players on the bench against Norwich. 5 if you include Johnson.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

I wonder where Aaron Ramsey will end up? Surprised he's not been hoovered up by Newcastle all ready. He's just won the annual award in Italy for 'biggest flop', even though he was signed several years ago. He’s got a ‘razzle dazzle’ Everton, Newcastle or Villa signing written all over him. You coul...

I'd sooner a versatile option like Bowen who can play there than an Antonio substitute.

Unless we can find a player who puts Antonio on the bench, but honestly I think that's out of our price range.
Spot on. :newthumb:
