Re: I hated them.....but now I don't.

Piers Morgan, who has seen it first hand described it as a work of art.

Re: I hated them.....but now I don't.

I have decided in the last ten minutes that I like Rod Stewart, because he spent his spare time during his world tour building a giant model railway. Rock n roll! I saw that today and was impressed with his 26 year dedication to that train set. Then I told the missus about it and she said it was one...

A Scotsman walks into a bar and looks for the Englishman and Irishman .... but they are still in Japan.
At least the sweaty will have the Irishman and can sub in the taffy for the Englishman to drink with now.

VAR called a penalty and a booking for a German sub who was warming up behind the goal.

Re: what pub have you been in today ? Rate it out of 10

My 20 yearold son and his squad are doing the 20 Weatherspoons in zone 1 in a day (pint in each).

Called him a knobhead, and tried to persuade him otherwise without sucess, but can anyone convince me there are any positives to this challenge?

Re: Proving Their Doubters Wrong

I say get rid of 40m Haller in January.
4 games in September without a goal.

and while we are at it lets ditch that 22 year old Swiss lad who has been with us over 50 days.
New club, new country but he has had plenty of chances.

Thank **** we have a decent manager in charge.

Re: Too much money in football

It seems The Spanish Federation isn't aware of how much money there is in football.

Barcelona fined for tapping up Griezmann, who they signed for 120m euros.

I wonder where they will find 300 euros.

4 clean sheets in the trot.

Wonder what our record is for consecutive games without conceding?

Seen his name mentioned many times, but never seen him play, nor know anything bout him. Is he any good ?
Take a butcher's on whufc.com at yesterdays u23rd game at Boro.

Will surely get a few run outs for the first team this season.

Re: Would you sell Declan Rice for £90m?

I want to say no, but Manuel & Mario bought Fab, The General, Anderson and Haller for less than that, with enough left over to make Brady redundant.

It would also amuse me that the kid we picked up from Chelsea (in the same year they sold De Bruyne), we sold on for shed loads.

Re: Our next 4 PL games

Would be happy with three draws and a win.
Icing on the cake would be not conceding many.
Could turn the Bournemouth away draw into a win as I think they may be struggling with injuries.
Top six.
Cherry on the icing would be beating Oxford in the cup.

We should sign Cantwell just to have that name on our team sheet again.

Anyone know if he’s descended from the great man?[/quote]

Noel left a couple of grandsons when he died in 2005.
Neither were named Todd.

Re: Is competition dying?

The top 5 leagues in Europe have been won consecutively, with a 3rd success for the five teams looking likely. Man City, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, PSG and Juventus all won the league in 2018 and 2019. Is there a point anymore? What can be done to make football competitive again? Home draws for Man ...

3 for Sterling, 2 for Kane and Rashford.

Might be worth a few quid on England winning Euro 2020.
